And you thought I dissappeared…. / for good….
In dark hollows / butterfly kisses / tremble knowingly
In dark hollows / butterfly kisses / tremble knowingly
Everytime I open my mouth / the butterflies make a break for it -
How I feel sometimes…like before I submit my work.
shattered wings
Impossible to go back
The butterfly has no time to waste.
This poem was inspired by this image by Julie Marks:
A butterfly I saw this day,
Playful butterflys.
I’ve been reading recently. I’ve been reading about something called the ‘Chaos Theory’
The Whole Series
Why did I fear something so near / To pure bliss / I was too scared and not spared
poem of fear and renewal
short lived butterfly
My love is the open hand / Your love is the butterfly
As always, inspired by and dedicated to My Muse
I want the wind to lift me up / and carry me away from this place / I want the brightest rainbow to paint / a smile back on my face.
another song. Written in 2006 while working on a cruise ship. had a pretty tough day but was blessed to watch the most amazing sunset somewhere in a remote island in PNG. this song came in 10min and i was feverously trying to capture it all on the receipt roll from the till in the downstairs bar.hahaha

In response to the Star Twisters prompt Butterfly This tale was borne out of a longish drive with my little one late at night. “Tell me a story from your mouth, mum,” she mumbled as we edged home. So this is hers. Couldn’t keep it to 350 words, and plus I can never meet the Star Twister deadline. Still, the prompt inspired me so I thought I’d write it down anyway.

I felt inspired to write when a dear friend came to visit who I hadn’t seen for a long time. Times throughout the year I had wanted to share the small, simple things in life with loved ones. Weather it be time, distance or even death that kept us apart…..
She walked slowly down the narrow dirt lane, cupping in her hands the most beautiful butterfly she had ever seen.
Laughter given wings, / My banner flutters in the Sky / like fiery amber and starry night… / Benign Ruler of all I spy!
Each Who Sings Now? poem I have written is inspired by a Teacher found in Nature; a tree, star, animal, stone, etc. from which we can learn so many priceless lessons… if we only take the time to listen. Many people enjoy trying to guess which Teacher inspired the poem before going on to read about them in detail. There are two linked Teachers singing in this piece. Can you guess who is singing?
