  • different from my normal style, just a play around in photoshop, all things indian, see what people thought.

  • ...These most recent pieces (my best work yet) reflect how I choose to view myself, life and everything it ‘that is’...!! I would describe life in the same way I do myself…. a mess… but a BEAUTIFUL one!!! ...These latest pieces would not have been brought to life without the inspiration of my BEST friend. She not only inspired this latest work but the title for this piece too! =)

  • a close up of a large painting, with lots of butterflies. It’s the first time I’m done something very light-I wanted something with standout features and a vast expanse of white-but I need it to be lush, soft and velvet. I’ve done well with acrylics so far and tar gel…but oil paint may need to be called in!

  • Attempted to capture Max detail on the juxtaposition – yellow and black on deep red Nikon D70s 70-300 EDIF at about 1:5 magnification

  • Womanhood – something of delicate, / fragile in the hand, / fragile in the mind. / And an imperfect lipstick / (too much kisses, / too much words). A state of mind.

  • I was here today on the Logan River, in the canyon not far from home. I loved the ‘just now turning’ leaves and magnificent reflections in the clear water… Little Boat and the butterfly wanted to go with me so I shot some pics of them as well… heehee..

Yet another in my series (3 to go!). / When, and if, I ever get to finish this I would like to put all the images together on one layout but cannot figure out how to fit the 7 images in equally. • What could be more beautiful to a photographer and gardener than to dream that they are in an old fashioned garden, the air is warm and golden colored and butterflies are everywhere! I invite you to stretch out, take a deep breath and close your eyes. If you wish, you could find yourself in my old fashioned garden, let the golden light bathe your senses and quiet you. Perhaps if you stretch out your hand, that butterfly will perch on your finger, furthering your sense of relaxation. Awww….relax….zzzzzzz! These are roses in my garden, the butterfly was added as a composite, I used a Dream Effects filter to make it look like a dream. Rose image taken in my garden in Shady Cove, Oregon

  • Chalk Pastel and Acrylic Liner on Newspaper / 41cm x 49cm I am doing a series of artworks on newspaper as a part of my own reduce, reuse, recycle campaign. I would like to encourage everyone to recycle and reuse what they can. I just saw an episode on Oprah about how much waste is blown into the ocean and around the countryside – it was really shocking but inspired me to market this cause. Let’s do this, not only for ourselves and generations to come, but for the animals who suffer at the hands of our negligence.

  • This is a photomanipulation I did using Orca Whales to illustrate the diminishing of their habitat due to pollution. / /
