Dedicated to my father who passed away 9/15/08. Ephemeral: Lasting only one day. Lasting a very short time. I created this using various old images I had laying around and played with it in Photoshop. I almost feel like I should have a poem written for this piece, but alas, i am not a writer! This piece was featured in PixElations-The Art of Photography, The Graphic Room-Graphic and Digital Art and the Live, Love, Dream group as the Top Feature Piece of the Day – 9/5/08. Butterflies are amazing creatures….it makes me smile when i get butterflies inside me, and i know those that have been or are in love feel them also….this is no coincendence that they are called butterflies…......ancient mythology tells us that they were given as a gift from a Lady to her husband to show him how much she loved him….so he could feel her love everywhere he went…. Today when you feel butterflies, feel honoured that you also have been given this beautiful gift This shot was taken along a roadside north of Gainesville, Florida.

This ia a montage of photos that I have taken over the past few years. / I made this one in PSP after I edited each photo onto a raster layer and made into a tube. The butterflies are tubes that I downloaded and added to the photo. This one took about four hours to complete, but I reall liked the way it turned out. / /
