The idea of ‘the butterfly effect’ comes from the science of chaos theory. It suggests that everything is connected, to the extent that the beating of a butterfly’s wings in one part of the world may ultimately contribute to a tornado happening in another part of the world. It strikes most of us as a fanciful notion – but it is more true than we realise, particularly when it comes to the environmemt A part of us dies if butterfly dies .

This was taken in 2003….This was taken with my minolta on film In my grandmothers garden…She asked me to take some pictures of some of her flowers..and this is the picture that I gave her…..She was pleasantly suprised to hsee her garden visitor as well.. To this day this has remained one of my favorite picturesm as well as a top seller… This is also a tiger-striped swallowtail butterfly…

I know some of the images I have shared with you all at Redbubble can be disturbing and I did not want to overload to many images. But this is one child I will never forget. I had just finished preaching in a remote village and the Prayer line had closed and the meeting was closed. But Noel’s Older brother came from the very back and carried Noel to me. he was dying from Intestinial worms and had a terrible open wound on his left leg. We prayed, adn as I was Praying Noel took his last breath and went home to be with Jesus. The thing that broke my heart is that Noel’s life could have been saved, if we had the money for medicine. many Like Noel can be saved. PLEASE Help US. We need to raise $1800 to buy medicines that can treat these sick children. I am returning to te villages on 9th October. We have the money for four water pumps adn Filters. this will stop the Intestinial worms from entering their bodies. but the benifits wont help those with intestinial worms now. So we need to treat them before they die. Beloved, i know you will pray for me and the children. Please do what you can. Thats all the Lord expects from any of us. My cousin Mary lived her entire life in a wheelchair. She was a sweet gentle spirit who died as a young adult. Her mother missed her terribly and so did her sisters. A red spotted purple butterfly began to “visit” their garden shortly thereafter, and the sight of it brought my cousins and my Aunt Lucille such joy and peace they took it as a comforting sign from heaven that Mary was sending smiles and love their way. Today, this red spotted purple literally kept running into me as I was trying to make my way to a flower bed to do some weeding. Well, it got my attention alright, so I put away the gardening tools, came inside to grab my camera, and starting clicking away. It lingered and lingered and was so accommodating, something that I’m not accustomed to seeing with the butterflies in my yard. I enjoyed my little visitor so much, and I’d like to dedicate this image to Mary and my Aunt Lucille who has since passed away. I think of them every time I see the blue butterfly named “Red Spotted Purple.” Maybe they were just dropping in to say hello to me today and to bring smiles and love, via a butterfly, from heaven. Maybe Mary was telling me, “I can walk now, and I can fly!”

I’m so jazzed. Was lucky enough to get this shot right in front of my house this morning. These guys keep moing and I kept shooting. Out of about 30 shots this was the best before he left. Only minor Photoshop work here. The background was the actual color of the sky today. He’s resting on a Mexican Bird Of Paradise. ...These most recent pieces (my best work yet) reflect how I choose to view myself, life and everything it ‘that is’...!! I would describe life in the same way I do myself…. a mess… but a BEAUTIFUL one!!! ...These latest pieces would not have been brought to life without the inspiration of my BEST friend. She not only inspired this latest work but the title for this piece too! =)
