I have also used a variety of found objects, including lace and ribbons…and an especially beautiful gold paint for the wings which were underpainted first to created texture. On of my favourite paintings, my heart and soul went into this piece…two sweet little girls in darling dresses hanging out in the garden together….what could be nicer.

Acrylic on canvas 90×90 cm Contemplation: A calm lengthy intent consideration. With this painting I concentrated on trying to get some more form into the work. I have used this pose before with the little angel in ‘Birds in Paradise’ .The tropical theme continues with the hibiscus in her hair and a vine. Milly

And thus i created rêverie. / Done it in Paint Shop Pro. I repainted some part of the body to give an ethereal feelings, put some mist in the background and behind the model (you can see it, but without it, it doesn’t look the same. i applied several textures and various colored layers, with the “screen” effect. As well as for the wings : in fact they are two layers, the same duplicated, the above one set as “screen”. This began as a photo of an actual “Secret Garden” my husband and I found on one of our “Date Days”, there were wood sculptures of insects and many levels of an array of beautiful flowers. This dragonfly sculpture stood watch above the garden and I played with many flower photos and a few fairies to greate the magic that unleashes within my mind’s eye…and voila ;) “In my garden there is a large place for sentiment, my garden of flowers is also my garden of thoughts and dreams. The thoughts grow as freely as flowers, and the dreams are as beautiful.” Abram L. Urban / /
