My son Morgan, who is 2 years 7 months, did this complete unaided on Photoshop! He’s already addicted to doing pictures on the computer and I think he’s definitely a budding artist!

The butterfly, covered in pollen, is working through its daily ritual. Rather than “cloning” away at a distracting background, the butterfly and part of the flower were placed onto a plain background.

This Peacock butterfly was beautifully positioned on my Budlea and made a nice diagonal image! I have spent 18 years growing plants to attract insects and wildlife; and it repayed me when my budlea was covered in over 25 Peacocks, a stunning sight and special moment.

These butterflies get their name from the large and colourful eyespots on their wings, which resemble those on the tail of the peacock. The upper wing is mostly red with black markings and a large yellow and purple eye spot at the tip. Lower wings are red with a dark blue eye spot surrounded by a white ring. The butterfly.s body is dark reddish brown and usually covered in shiny hairs.
