On my way home from the city wanted to capture the S curve in the Monash Freeway near East Malvern setup the tripod and aimed the camera through this bloody annoying fence, it was too high for my tripod so i had to zoom in a bit to miss the pailings. White Balance was tinkered with in Lightroom, 30 second exposure at f 11, focal length was was 37mm at ISO 100 Click here for my other images of Melbourne

It starts to snow and you hear the empty echo of where you are. The snow is creating a heavy fog. You can not see. You stumble around trying to move through the fog and snow but you fall victim to the harsh conditions. You suddenly fall paralyzed on the cold hard ground. In your last moments you hear wings flap and the loud screech of an owl.

I just came back from a last minute two week business trip to Hong Kong. Only had a few chances to take the camera out and usually only at night. This is the first weeks effort. TITLE OF ARTWORK: / ~MIKE THE MOUSE~ ARTWORK CREATED ON: Paper APPROXIMATE SIZE: 8.5”x11” inches. MATERIALS USED: Ink , Spray paint , Watercolors , White-Out Pen , Markers. Signed by the artist and completed in January 2007. ABOUT THIS: Mike is a mouse that I met back in 1995 when I was working in a secret government lab testing growth hormones. In the month of April we were testing a group of hairless mice. All of the other mice died within the first two months of testing but one mouse had something I guess “extra.” I special gene that was compatible with the hormone that we were giving him. Within the first week he had already grown to twice his starter size. Within the first month he was the size of a small dog. At the end of the first six months Mike the mouse didn’t really look like a mouse any more. His arms and legs hands and feet were very long and skinny and he was the size of a truck. Finally the higher up government officials took mike away because the experiment was getting too dangerous for the scientists. By my calculations based on Mike’s previous growth rate – today in 2007 mike should be six times the size of a eight story building. Mike I hope we meet again someday.
