Sitting on the edge of life…every moment, every second, is breathing, or screaming!
In every scream there is a flood of emotions…this flood, this impact of emotions coming together at one solid point, is released and our scream is our sonic boom!
The surface is only skin deep…our essence lives inside!
In building someone elses cross to punish, we see behind us, the cross we have up our back!
When the time is right you’ll come together…create and wait for them!

I just came back from a last minute two week business trip to Hong Kong. Only had a few chances to take the camera out and usually only at night. This is the first weeks effort. A tiny plant that grows all over my yard that not to many people probably notice in their busy lives… I love how delicate it looks.

These are my pennies… please do not contemplate thieving these from me, I might need them through the next 4 years of depression.
I went to Montreal on a photo walk with my sister a few days ago. We took the subway to get there, and had loads of fun shooting everything we found interesting. I have a Nikon D60 without a telephoto lens besides the standard 18-55mm that came with it. Making candid shots without people seeing me is always a challenge, and I feel very uncomfortable when they do realize that I took their picture. When that’s the case, I often try the dazzling smile method and it usually works; they smile back. Pity that I don’t have dimples… That’s why I started to try refining my up-to-now-unexistent-skills for shooting at waist level, without looking into the viewfinder. If my subjects don’t see the blinking autofocus assist illuminator, I’m out of trouble. This shot was made in a moving subway, on our way back. I was sitting at a 90° angle from the man, a little over 3 meters away (9-10 ft). I had my camera bag on knees and my left arm resting on the bag. My camera was still around my neck so I just positioned it unobstrusively, so that the lens rested on my forearm, pointing in the general direction of my subject. I used my remote to trigger the shutter, and hoped for the best. I made a few shots, but it’s only once I got home that I found out that this one had come out very good. I changed the RAW file to black and white in DxO Optics Pro before converting to JPG, and that’s all that was done to it. Otherwise completely AS IS Focal length 55mm / ISO-1600 / Aperture f/5,6 / Shutter 1/10 sec. This is a new version of an old composition that I made several years ago. It is a bunch of cylinders in a wall at slightly varying degrees and each is planted at a slightly different depth in the wall. / This was made with Blender and rendered with YaFray / Featured in Art in Math Group, August 27, 2009 / Featured in All Abstract Art, October 10,2009 / Featured in Shapes & Patterns – Limit of 2 images per day, October 30,2009
He left her laying on the floor on a dirty mattress, the place he left her every night, the place he told her to / now call “Home” as he walked away from her, the hatred streaming through her veins made her snap, she wouldn’t go down like this, she called out to him, “Don’t Leave”, turning eyeing her suspiciously, he walked back to her, not knowing she had found her weapon earlier that day, a brick in the corner under some cardboard, behind her back she gripped it with one hand, the other hand reaching out to him, as he drew close she brought the brick down hard on the side of his head..down he went….she ran towards the door slamming it shut..,,finally she was free!!! She didn’t know which way to run, she just ran..as she rounded the corner.. to her utter relief parked not 20 ft from her was a police car..screaming..running she now knew she was safe..in no time she would be back home..”Her Home” she drew closer seeing him getting out of his car approaching her, she ran..throwing herself in the safety of his open arms..crying..”there..there now..your safe” he said ..she stiffened..knowing that voice..No it can’t be!!! She looked up right into the eyes of her worst nightmare..Him..he looked down, kissed her forhead “ wrapped his arms tightly around her waist..Now sweetie lets go back HOME..
