The Theory of Bunk has been in my back pocket for a couple decades. I like to pull it out and lay it on the table now and then, when the moment calls for it. The Theory of Bunk is useful for the sceptic as well as the devout. It remains true wether you like it or not. The Theory of Bunk exist to humble the egos of those vertical mammals who maintain they and they alone are correct in the path of their own choosing. It is a choice… you know that, right? / The Theory of Bunk is simple. This stuff should be preschool. The Theory of Bunk concludes… “Those who adamantly claim to be singularly correct… are inherently wrong.” Sam Dantone

I’m going away for a week tomorrow to stay in a friend’s batch up North, she’s going to Aussie and letting me stay there for a few days. It’s a beautiful spot set deep in the bush. If you walk up to the top of the garden it leads you to a cliff top overlooking the ocean The last time I stayed there a huge storm brought a tree down which left me stranded with no power or phone for a week, it was a good enough excuse to leave my laptop unplugged to try to get some writing done. I’m not sure If I’m going to be able to use my aircard there so I might have bubble withdrawals for the week! If you don’t hear from me before I get back, take care out there and happy creating to you all! If I can’t hook up I’ll catch up with everything and everyone when I get back. :) xox

I managed to get the account to help the wildlife who will be searching for a home, food and their life back. / The new account is wildlife-appeal / 100% of any sales will go to the charity Wildlife Rescue and Protection Inc / Chose this agency because 100% of the donations do actually go to the help of the animals instead of some corporate guy’s pocket. / If anyone would like to help out it would greatly be appreciated. / If you would like to help me with the account, just bmail me thru this account or the wildlife-appeal account and let me know. I would be honored for any help offered. If you would like to donate any of your artwork for the account (linking back to you) please bmail either account, and I will send you the email addy to send the files to. If you want to have your Tee’s on it that is fine also. The images do not have to be of wildlife, it can be any image you would like to donate. I intend on sending as Rb does their payment monthly. The donation name will be wildlife-appeal once the first donation is made, and will be here on out after that. / I intend on keeping that account active for as long as it takes to help out the innocent creatures who have lost their homes, their food and way of life. / Anyone who does want to submit any artwork for a certain amount of time, Please contact me on when you’re ready to remove the work you submitted. I will then remove it from the account I think it is outstanding on how the community has come forward to help out the human side of this horrible tradegy, and I have no doubt the same compassion will come thru for the wildlife affected over there also. It tears my heart out on what these animals have gone thru and what their future holds as they wait for their home to re-grow. I feel they are the real victims in this horrible event. If only they could rebuild their home and re-grow the trees to get their food. They need our assistance as much as possible. Thanks in advance for everything. / I would also like to thank Clive for the use of his image not only people suffer for the account’s avatar..Thank you Clive, I am honored.

It has been overwhelming to see the instant support and compassion fellow Aussies have shown to the victims of the fires in Victoria. The money and assistance coming in is simply amazing. And I feel such warmth and kindness flowing in from all corners of the world! Thank you so much to everyone for your open hearts and willing hands! The shiny side of humanity is really evident at times like these. But there are millions of silent victims that are being overlooked by the majority of those who are helping or raising funds, and they are the creatures of the Australian Bush, and the domestic animals, left burned, scarred, and without homes after the fires. It is an horrific fate for them. For those who were killed, their suffering is over and they are in a better place, but for the many who survived and are still out there, desperately in need of veterinary care, water, food, and just some kindness…. their need has never been greater. It is up to us to recognize and help them in whatever way we can. / Donations of money to the various wildlife organizations is one way to do this, if you cannot go and help in person. A group of wonderful people here on Redbubble have set up a Wildlife Appeal site similar to the Phoenix Appeal where Redbubble members can donate pieces of art with the proceeds going directly to the wildlife fundraisers. Please check out this site and try to donate a piece of art. The creatures need us to help them too, and they don’t have the media to bring their plight to the world as the humans do. They suffer in silence. And it breaks my heart. I have pledged the proceeds of sales of all my art from my InAWE pages to this cause and hope that others might do likewise. If you wish to donate art, just bubblemail the wildlife appeal and get the address to send the images to. They do not have to BE of wildlife or animals…any artwork will be greatfully accepted…... then just help by spreading the word to others about this second means of supporting those whose lives have been burned by the fires. Thank YOU!

As many of you who have read my previous journals know I am with a few other huge hearted photographers and artists, donating the proceeds from sales from our work at the wildlife-appeal / The agency we are helping, the Wildlife Rescue and Protection Inc (WRAP), has some animals that need to be “adopted” / The caregivers (carers) that are trying to help these animals with the injuries they sustained from the bushfires that raged thru Victoria and surrounding areas. I have been emailing with Racheal on how we can help get these animals adopted. Right now there are only 6 left, but she did state there will be more to come. This is how it would work. As with any sponsorship with children, zoo animals, and pets, you would recieve a certificate of adoption, updates, and photos every three months. / If you cant do this yourself, I cant plead with you enough to pass this on, eventually there will be someone that can help out with the animal survivors of Black Saturday. For those of you already involved with adoption programs, please pass this on to your friends and everyone else. I will be contacting local businesses and some schools in my area to see if they would like to adopt one of these amazing animals, you can do the same. To learn more about this, please go HERE / From Rachael, WRAP, the wildlife-appeal, every single person that is helping us with pledges and donating their work and myself. / Thanks so much…just pass this on.

You have to love PayDay and I am very very happy to report making the first donations to WRAP from the wildlife-appeal account. First we all want to thank Everyone for donating their beautiful work, the buyers who bought things to help us out, and of course the people on the Wildlife-Appeal group, who have started contacting us to make their pledged donations on behalf of the wildlife-appeal. Without everyone helping out as they are doing, this donation to help those animals who are still fighting for their life from the bushfires of Feb. 7th, 2009 wouldnt have happened. / I didnt realize the currency exchange when I put in the amount of the donations, so this was done in three parts to get to the amount for US dollars that was switched to AUS dollars. Really need to get myself a currency exchange chart around here. / From what was sent, it totaled up to $275.00 AUD from the wildlife-appeal account. / The donations sent from people who donated their proceeds totaled up to $68.00 AUD / Bringing our total to date 03/05/09 to $343.00AUD I think this is an outstanding start to the appeal we have all chosen to participate and support. Everyone should feel proud and feel like they did, have and Are making a difference in helping! This cause by no means is over. We still need to get the word out. As the fires in Austalia seem to die down, it doesnt mean all is over and done with. There are many who still need our help. Many animals and people. Luckily for the human side of this tradegy the outpoor of help has been amazing from all around the world. But we cant forget our silent victims, who will be wondering where their food is, where their homes are. It will take months and probably years until their life is back to “norm” / So please pass on the word for this cause to everyone, anyone you feel is interested. Every bit of help does make a difference, even if it’s being discussed over a cup of coffee. / Thanks to Everyone who has made this happen, without all of you this wouldnt have gotten started! So leave this journal with a grand feeling of accomplishment. You Have and Do Deserve it! To those who want to help out we are always accepting more art work of all kinds, not just animals. Thank you so much from the wildlife-appeal :) Reciept copies from all donations made to WRAP (my address information will not be copied so some of that is missing) :) This is a note that was written to WRAP on behalf of the wildlife-appeal and the WLA group…... / This is from the wildlife-appeal account, this is one of the first donations made from the actual account created with artist’s work on Redbubble donated to sale for profits to help the cause of the wildlife who were injured in the bushfires of February 7, 2009, known as Black Saturday in Victoria Australia and surrounding areas. We are all honored to be helping in this cause. / Thanks so much for allowing us to help. Rachael from the Wildlife Rescue and Protection (WRAP) sent us more shots of the actual rescues that went on. Some are alittle graphic with the roos and unfortunately for those poor animals they had to be put down. / She is gradually sending us photos of their hard work in saving the animals in their care, and as she does send them to us, we will post. These are random images she has sent us, in no particular order. We know its been over a month since this tradegy has happened in Victoria. Rachael and the others have been very very busy trying to find homes and suitable places for the surviving. She is sending photos as she can find the time. / / / / Kudos to those who have gone out there to save these animals.
