Crawled right under a bush to get this, had to do a bit of work on it in PS becasue the light wasn’t the best in there, but I like how it turned out.

Bush lemon, non-native descendant of escaped, introduced citrus, it is frequently re-domesticated, like this one growing in a rural garden in Central Victoria, Australia. Fruit of this individual are unusually orange in colour—most bush lemon trees have fruit that is the bright yellow of domestic lemons. Compared with domestic lemon, bush lemon rind is typically thicker, and the fruit drier, but still useful as a food ingredient, valued in gardens for its hale hardiness. Pink/purple flower-buds are also visible in this photograph.

A walk in the bush. I don’t do it often enough.

These little guys look like they could lose their hold on their twigs at any time. I really like the colors. The shadows remind me of those graphs we used to look at in school, with the overlapping bubbles. I don’t remember what they were called…anyone else know what I’m talking about? :) Taken in the exact same place as Winter in Gotham City, a bush right outside my front door.

Of all the flowers and all the trees, you are the one that stands out to me. You do not turn brown at the end of summer. Instead you turn red, oh what a wonder! Your branches are square, oh my how weird. But that is why I like you. when all your leaves have changed, a bright red bush remains. Of all they things they could have named you, Burning Bush was that best that suits you.
