Taken on that junction in the title in the City of London. A slow shutter speed to capture the action and very lucky timing to have 2 people waiting to cross as 2 buses drive past.

ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY VIEWS ~ THANK YOU Somewhere in the North of Ireland …......... Have you seen No. 29a ?, I heard this voice say. I thought I was alone, I got up off the ground and looked around. Cloth cap, grey hair, bald and receding in the centre, about seventy if he was a day, a North Dublin accent to be sure. I was looking for the bus with number 29a on it he said again. Had I seen it, I wasn’t sure, there’s a group of about ten or twelve over there, it might be there, I replied. 29a ran from Eden Quay out to Newgrove Cross, via Fairview, Killester and through Rahenny Village. I was on it for twenty-eight years he said. When they retired me I heard they retired it as well. Somebody told me they sent them up North, about twenty four of them. Well you’ve come to the right place I said, this place has got old buses everywhere. He talked, more like rambled on for ages about Leyland Atlantean’s and Routemasters and other old buses, but none of them meant anything to me. He headed off into the distance over to the other buses I’d seen earlier and I never saw him again. They were the dead Dublin buses, and I guess this place was the terminus*

Wouldn’t your children just love riding back and forth to school in these school buses (Rickshaws with bicycle fronts) They are very colourful and the children are in cages on the back. Very safe.

6+ billion people on the face of the earth? Yeah, I believe it… the scary thing is that in a few years, the freeways and highways across the entire world might look like this if we’re not careful. *photo taken in Los Angeles (Chinatown), CA

Another shot of “Brunnsparken”. / This is a very much frequented crossroads / of central Gothenburg. You can find a bus / or a tram line to any part of the city from here. / There are canals connecting it even by boat, / to the amusement park “Liseberg”, / or in the old days, to the ships / unloading goods in the harbour.

On a Bus, upstairs, in London as far as I remember in 2002 or thereabouts somewhere near Euston station or maybe elsewhere there was a sudden noise of acceleration and not one but two buses accelerated past mine with gurning engines and wheezing passengers. They were actually racing each other! My God! I whipped out my small Olympus Miu (analog) and snapped off this picture. Only later did I realise there were two Ali G’s staring back at me. I think this advertising may have affected the drivers mentalities that night. I am sure they were very sorry the next day and even a little embarrassed.
