Too much fun in the sun
Taken on our land in Inglewood, country Victoria Saturday morning.Apart from the crop its straight from camera
One day too many in the heat of an impossible, South Texas summer.
Of all the flowers and all the trees, you are the one that stands out to me. You do not turn brown at the end of summer. Instead you turn red, oh what a wonder! Your branches are square, oh my how weird. But that is why I like you. when all your leaves have changed, a bright red bush remains. Of all they things they could have named you, Burning Bush was that best that suits you.
I took this image as soon as i realised the sky was beautiful / i was talking to my friend serena at the time / and i had to run off and take it / so this picture is for her / as she is the best girl in the world

Watch a video of this song here Forfeit the game / Before somebody else / Takes you out of the frame / Puts your name to shame / Cover up your face / You can’t run the race / The pace is too fast / You just won’t last You love the way I look at you / While taking pleasure in the awful things you put me through / You take away if I give in / My life / My pride is broken [Chorus:] / You like to think you’re never wrong / (You live what you’ve learned) / You have to act like you’re someone / (You live what you’ve learned) / You want someone to hurt like you / (You live what you’ve learned) / You want to share what you`ve been through / (You live what you’ve learned) You love the things I say I’ll do / The way I hurt myself again just to get back at you / You take away when I give in / My life / My pride is broken [Chorus] Forfeit the game / Before somebody else / Takes you out of the frame / Puts your name to shame / Cover up your face / You can’t run the race / The pace is too fast / You just won’t last [Chorus] [Chorus:] / You like to think you’re never wrong / (You live what you’ve learned) / You have to act like you’re someone / (You live what you’ve learned) / You want someone to hurt like you / (You live what you’ve learned) / You want to share what you have been through / (You live what you’ve learned) Linkin Park

Macro photograph taken from the bark of Australian gum tree! “As I looked back to the burning shores, I knew I would never again set foot on this land again. The intruders arrived in large numbers without warning, we were unprepared. We have lost our homes, our possessions and so many that were dear to us. Sadness gripped my heart as the tears welled up in my eyes…........”

abstract oil/acrylic poem4 I LOVED YOU WITHOUT COMPREHENSION, / Your voice is drowning out the song of my soul, / I loved you wthout preservation, / no hesitation, / now in stillness only regret. How to stop the bleeding, / the begging, / the pleading, / for you to love me back the way I deserve. Selfishness is the voice of immaturity, but enchanting eyes, / your sweet smile, / we laugh a while / and youve been gone for miles. some very long long time ago, / you locked up your heart and burned the key, / and here I am in darkened rooms, / with broken mirrors, / and shattered heart, / holding the ashes of your memories. searching out ways to please, / to bring you back to intamicy, / my tears run down through hardened stone, / what love remains / I must have been insane, / to think that you could loveā¦.
My friend wanted me to make him a devil..so I did. :) This piece is being featured 12/08 in the group: / Voices of the dark & Deep /
Inspired by the firey colors of fall, and the play on words for the time when people rake up these beauties after they come the the end of their glory to be burned.
“O’my Luve’s like a red, red rose, That’s newly sprung in June: O’my Luve’s like the melodie, That’s sweetly play’d in tune. As fair art thou, my bonnie lass, So deep in luve am I; And I will luve thee still, my dear, Till a’ the seas gang dry. Till a’ the seas gang dry, my dear, And the rocks melt wi’ the sun; And I will luve thee still, my dear, While the sands o’ life shall run. And fare-thee-weel, my only Luve! And fare-thee-weel, a while! And I will come again, my Luve, Tho’ ‘twere ten thousand mile!” A Red, Red Rose is a 1794 song in Scots by Robert Burns. Also well known as My Love is Like A Red, Red Rose or Red, Red Rose and is often published as a poem.
