Kitty Serendipity was a series of photographs documenting the backstage activities of a fictional burlesque troop from 2005. As I stared at them for the few weeks before the exhibition, I discovered that although they were photos of burlesque girls backstage, they also recalled to mind snapshots of many different myths, stories and fairy tales, which is why they’re all named as they are. This image is a straight shot from a digital camera with no post editing.
