This is the Chrome grill from the auto in this series called Pinkie from my show called OldBoyToys a look at the autos of a collector. As you can see the grill back in the 1930 to 1970s were a work of art in its self often the reason a person would by a car was to have this grill as a symbol of who they were! It was quite striking to see something as bright and as bold come at you in the night blazing with full headlights reflecting off of its front bumper!

It has been associated with the loss of / Opuntia cacti, which were destroyed by invasive goats, donkeys and pigs / and are now very rare on this island. / Predatory cats and black rats that eat mockingbird eggs are likely to have / affected mockingbird populations. The smooth-billed ani is an introduced / bird that preys on nestlings including mockingbirds. Parasitic Philornis / flies have been found in mockingbird nests, affecting nestling survival. / San Cristóbal mockingbird populations are declining within their / restricted range on a single island. This species is listed as Endangered on / the IUCN Red List. The Española species is listed as Vulnerable due to its / restricted range. Habitat degradation and the impact of invasive species / and climatic events continue to threaten these species. / Like other Galapagos birds, mockingbirds are susceptible to introduced / avian diseases, such as avian pox. Avian pox was introduced with bird / species brought to the islands, including poultry. In the future, avian / malaria and West Nile virus infection may also become a problem.

This is one of many cars that a collector in Germany invited me to come and see as he told me his collection was of vast interest !When I arrived I spotted this old timer sitting in the front yard. He told me his collection of cars were all 50’s autos and all of them in a state of rust and waiting for some tender loving care I could only think as I shot these wonderful old timers that I can at least give them some type of respect and caring ! If there was ever a need to “Pimp My Car” then these autos are first in line!

This Green car was sitting in the yard by a section of the Berlin wall that this man had as a reminder of a past horror I thought it was fitting and at the same time thought this car should be freed too!LOL /

This 1950 Buick was sitting in a yard in Germany collecting moss and rust and even in its disrepair it was still a wonderful automobile to see an brought fond memories of my dad and his big boy as he liked to call it. Its one of the few that you can see in Germany Its from a time when America was the leader in automobile manufacturing and had a style all to its self. / As you can see its still regal no matter what!
