The Ultimate Liar
by Chris WhiteOh yeah, ‘the juicy bits’: I am the ultimate liar, because even I believe my own lies, if I believe anything at all.
This is the start of a novel that I keep starting and never finishing. One day I might start and finish it. As it is this stands as a short story in and of itself, and condenses a lot of the ideas I want to express in the novel. Thus giving me an excuse not to start and finish it.

Jamie
by Nancy ViceDedicated to the innocent “Jamies” of violent gangs.
I wrote this on March 09, 1993. My mind was being flooded at the time of news from the television and/or radio about innocent children who were killed by stray bullets during gang fightings. Not just children either, but innocent adults too. I remember feeling scared, and not because I was anywhere close to the areas of the shootings, but because I have 5 children and I began to feel vulnerable.
