The weekend was looking pretty bad (photography wise) until my neigbour introduced me to Ted. I fell in love immediately – my friends know I’m a sucker for a puppy or kitten. Ted is a 10 week old cross Pug Cavalier.

Hazel is an angel when she is asleep. The rest of the time she can be a devil. She asked that we post another image for her since Gus is ahead in this sibling rivalry over who gets the most views and favorites. Rumor has it they have several weeks worth of dog biscuits riding on the outcome of this bet. The chant is beginning to build in the background “help Hazel,” “help Hazel,” “help Hazel.”

I just thought I would post something for all the pit bulls in the world… I have had them all my life and they are a truly misunderstood breed.. Pits are not born bad… they are raised to be that way by ignorant owners… So the next time you hear pit bull and your skin crawls… think about this picture and maybe just give them a chance :)

First of all – this picture was taken with my cell phone while I was holding onto the leash and Cooter was pulling Rosco across the field! I cannot believe it turned out so clear! It has been puclished in a couple anthologies too. Here’s the story: / Rosco and Cooter found a mole hole to dig in. Rosco was not wanting to let Cooter dig so I put a leash on Rosco to hold him back while Cooter took his turn. Rosco became more and more impatient and kept forcing his way underneath Cooter to dig; so Cooter got fed up and grabbed Roscos leash and started dragging him across this field; quite a ways actually. This is the angriest I’ve ever seen Cooter!
