I find this simple image reminds me of shoots or bulbs of a plant dividing off from the parent organism. It is another fractal, derived from an algorithm I found when I made a programming error :) One of the reasons I write my own software instead of one of the very powerful and nicely designed fractal programs out there, it’s easier to make mistakes and sometimes I like the mistakes better than the intended result.

I always look inside a tulip with anticipation, as the colour and design vary greatly between flowers. Also available as a birthday card here

This is a small “slice” of my mother’s garden; she is a master gardener. Anything she plants thrives beautifully, and my father is just as good as she is. He saves watermelon and tomato seeds when he eats at restaurants, dries them, plants them, and harvests a good crop later on. What a wonder my parents are; truly their hearts are in the garden.

This is the first of 3 I’m putting up. Each one a little closer in than the last. This is the full sized one. I just love all the bright spring flowers in this tub. I took this shot with fairies in mind. I’ve added 3 fairies, with “new, improved “wings. I’ve had fun this afternoon making parts of the wings transparent. I’ve also added two ladybirds, 1 frog and 3 butterflies. Hope you like it. :)

This is the 2nd of 3. This one gives you a better view of who lives here! 3 fairies (with new, improved wings). I spent the afternoon creating transparent parts for their wings. Also a frog, 2 ladybirds,, and 3 butterflies. Hope you like it.

These beautiful flowers only last one day, however they do produce more than one per stem. I just threw the bulbs in a tub with soil and they come up every year. I just wish I could get some of the other colours. I used to have a beautiful white one but the tub it was in was stolen during the night. I’m afraid it a common thing where I live.
