Château de Chenonceau near the French village of Chenonceaux in the Loire Valley, is considered to be a true fairyland caste with its distinctive turrets, rooftops and the unique tower next t the castle. This photograph of one of the hallway of the building portrays a mysterious elegance that engulfs the building today. View from my balcony… I connected with this cityscape so much and photographed many times in various shades of light… Now, luckily I didn’t have to get up as early as Mel Brackstone does for her superb landscapes, this was shot early morning, and hopefully conveys some of the attitude that is Singapore…

Taken in Tunga/Zuga Village .remote Nigeria. Rebecca is 13 years old and is orphaned. Her Grandmother was looking after her, but she now is dead also. Rebecca rarely speaks but loves to sing songs she learned from passing missionaries. She works in her grandmothers small garden. Her Grandmothers house is almost falling down. BEST VIEWED FULL SIZE! A beautiful street in Old Corfu Town, Greece, on a wonderfully hot and sleepy afternoon in July of 2005. Looking closely, you can see the tourists heading our way from down the street. Handheld image taken with the Olympus C-5000 zoom on July 27, 2005. Shutter 1/250, aperture f/5.6, exposure 0.00, iso 50. In other words, totally automatic and if I’d had to explain what a shutter speed was in those days, I couldn’t have done it!! This image was put through photoshop to remove distracting electrical lines, then popped into Photomatix, single image at +/- 2 eval.

/ When I wasn’t playing cricket with the locals, I was in awe of the landscape that is India. This is Jaisalmer, dubbed the golden city because of its honey colour. There are also two black chairs above one of the balconies, no safety railing to speak of…. what a place!
