Louisville, Kentucky USA 21 April 2008 10:06 PM EST This shot was NOT easy due to another photographer trying to take this same night shot using a flash. From this vantage point, the city is one mile away. He ruined 5 of my long exposures with his flash. Finally, I politely ask him to please let me get one good shot. / MCN: C30-NP3U-4430

Wandering through the back streets of the old town was heavenly, at every turn there were wonders to behold, the long things hanging outside the shop are actually candles.

Weird as it was, it only rained at the Ghost Town and was Beautiful and sunny when we left. After shooting the Ghost town 2 days later I broke out with Poison Oak. and of course there was the voice of an elderly Man I heard in one of the worn down sheds (Nobody around for at least 30 Yards).

This is a Photoshop adjusted version of my previously posted Ciutadella Town Hall II. The adjustments were made by the super talented Julie Langford, for which I am most grateful. She has removed all the clutter and added a fabulous sky. Please let us know what you think! Related shots can be viewed at Menorca or Balearic Islands or Spain. Best viewed Larger. Plaza de toros de Ronda a.k.a. the Bullring of Ronda. Ronda is one of the most beautiful little towns I’ve ever seen. In the south of Spain, it is built on a gorge, the old town on one side, the new town on the other. The Puente Nuevo bridge spans the gorge and stands 120m above the canyon floor. (A very impressive sight, I can tell you!) The bullring was built in 1785 and is one of the oldest operational bullfighting venues in Spain. In fact, I believe it may be one of the last bullrings still hosting fights (although very rarely). This image was featured in European Everyday Life September 25, 2008.

Bodie Ghost Town in the Seirra Nevada Mountains in Eastern California. This 1800’s Gold town once had a thriving population of 10,000 people. It was a true wild western town with gun fights, saloons and a huge redlight district.
