This was taken in the lobby of a building on Bourke Street, Melbourne. 2002 The Green Room was featured on the home page, 26 Aug 2008. Featured in Sold! in November, 2008. Image is of the Whalehead Hunt Club in Currituck, North Carolina. Currituck lighthouse on the left, active Osprey’s nest on far left chimney. I currently consider this my “masterpiece”, the colors, the sky, the reflection, the fact that the lighthouse is also visible, etc. HDR image of multiple bracketed images merged into one. This is one of my favorite places to go to, it is my sense of “place”. Louisville, Kentucky USA 21 April 2008 10:06 PM EST This shot was NOT easy due to another photographer trying to take this same night shot using a flash. From this vantage point, the city is one mile away. He ruined 5 of my long exposures with his flash. Finally, I politely ask him to please let me get one good shot. / MCN: C30-NP3U-4430

Trying something a little different with this shot. Taken at night but modified by increasing the exposure values by a lot. Creates an interesting effect. Had to travel to Adelaide for work, was trapped inside all day, though managed to escape for about 30 minutes but being in the city this is as close to seeing the sunset as I got.

The wonderful little normandy port of Honfleur in France at the mouth of the river Seine.(it’s best viewed LARGE for detail). To access by boat you tie up and wait for them to close the road, lift up the bridge pass through a loch and this is what awaits !(I had the good fortune to be a lastminute stand in crew on a wonderful yacht recently… huge happy sailor grins … :)))) It’s an absolutely stunning place with its rich artistic and historical heritage wonderfully preserved! It is also the place from which a Samuel de Champlain left in 1608 for the ’ New World’ and he went on to found the city of Quebec and 400th anniversary celebrations are currently underway… I might have wished to capture all sail boats in this wonderful settting… but took comfort from the fact that everyone on that huge motor launch had to take their shoes off at the door to protect the carpets ..teehee! This was taken from the footbridge over the Yarra River at Southbank in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, looking back north east toward Flinders Street train station. The sun was just starting to peek through the mornings thick fog, and appeared as a small, solid white disk through the lifting fog.
