  • Photograph of an original collagraph print which I did in the late 1990’s

  • Landscape of the Lord St. Malo outside of Estes Park, Colorado. One of thee most photographed Churches in all of North America, I was VERY excited and VERY anxious to get this shot when I headed up to Rocky Mountain National Park. I was hoping that the weather would clear because behind this, covered in the clouds, is Mt. Meeker and it is just a stunning view with the mountains! I have to admit though, I am really happy how this came out. And if anything, it is quite unique compared to how it is usually shot. I suppose that is a good thing when it comes to photographing something that is such an icon. Generally, people walk down by the pond and shoot from there, I stayed up top on the side of the road, thus giving a different perspective than most. Also, the weather. It was dramatic as all heck! You could smell the rain as it came in, dark, but with so much drama in the sky. I was pretty lucky to get a shot like this. Ya, I am happy with it! • I’m in Florida while my husband is attending a conference. I take this free time as quality time with my camera. Our hotel consists of two buildings, each standing swimming pools and tennis courts apart. I start by standing in my balcony and taking a picture of the second hotel building, I get a close up making the picture abstract and tilt the camera a bit to create interest. It’s one of those simple shots, one of those obvious shots that people simply overlook. This is also one of my favorite type of photographs, I love the abstraction. /

  • I was walking around the neighborhood last fall, looking for something to image when i came across this scene. The chair that was placed near some trash bins by a long abandoned government building. The light was just right and the texture of the scene really grabbed me. / “Alone” was featured in the group Rusty, Crusty and Falli… / “Alone” was featured in the group Live, Love, Dream / “Alone” was featured in Still Life Photography

  • He left her laying on the floor on a dirty mattress, the place he left her every night, the place he told her to / now call “Home” as he walked away from her, the hatred streaming through her veins made her snap, she wouldn’t go down like this, she called out to him, “Don’t Leave”, turning eyeing her suspiciously, he walked back to her, not knowing she had found her weapon earlier that day, a brick in the corner under some cardboard, behind her back she gripped it with one hand, the other hand reaching out to him, as he drew close she brought the brick down hard on the side of his head..down he went….she ran towards the door slamming it shut..,,finally she was free!!! She didn’t know which way to run, she just ran..as she rounded the corner.. to her utter relief parked not 20 ft from her was a police car..screaming..running she now knew she was safe..in no time she would be back home..”Her Home” she drew closer seeing him getting out of his car approaching her, she ran..throwing herself in the safety of his open arms..crying..”there..there now..your safe” he said ..she stiffened..knowing that voice..No it can’t be!!! She looked up right into the eyes of her worst nightmare..Him..he looked down, kissed her forhead “ wrapped his arms tightly around her waist..Now sweetie lets go back HOME.. • It was a game to him, it was a hunt..a hunt for the perfect victim, they wouldn’t even have a clue, not a chance for escape, he didn’t look the type, he was handsome, charismatic, the women found him irresistible, he didn’t even have to try to persuade them to come home with him.. She was perfect..beautiful, petite, full of life, after a few drinks and some conversation he had her in his spell, flirting, and complementing her, she was putty in his hands..he could feel the excitement race through his veins as he walked her to his truck..when they pulled up in front of the building, he seen the realization come across her face..her fear only excited him more..she grabbed the door handle ready to flee..but he was too quick and had her by the hair..dragging her out the drivers side door screaming, she fought him with all her strength, kicking, biting, but he wasn’t even fazed by her blows..as he climbed the stairs and slid open the door, he smiled..knowing that the Final Steps in this game were about to begin. Nikon D90 / 18-200mm VR Lens This is a set of stairs that is on one side of the Grain Elevator. /
