  • The same barn as in the photo Hidden but from a different time and a different angle.

  • An incredible barn not real far from home, it’s just amazing, sitting out there in the middle of a field, falling apart but so much character, I couldn’t help myself as usual when it comes to falling down buildings of any sort. Then I had a play with it

  • A view of Downtown New York from a rooftop at 34th and Park Ave.

  • Havana Cuba street scene.

  • The post office at Grafton, New South Wales, Australia.

  • If you ask anyone who knows me, I’m a very passionate and patriotic Melbournian. I love the fact that we have the best sporting, art and food cultures in Australia, the vibe of the city, the day life, the night life and the mix of 19th Century and cutting edge architecture. Melbourne is the place to be.

  • Rosenborg Slot is a little castle in Copenhagen, Denmark, built of red bricks in Dutch Renaissance style. King Christian IV himself took part in its design and once the castle was finished, he used it as his summer house. Today, the Rosenborg Slot houses the Danish crown jewels. September 2007. Canon EOS 300X, Sigma 28-135. Post-processing: distortion correction, convert to B&W, retouch, sharpening, crop, burn, contrast correction.

  • Muiderslot (the Muiden Castle), not far away from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is one of the best known Dutch castles. Originally built by Floris V around 1280, the castle is relatively small (32 by 35 meters, according to Wikipedia) but strong (with brick walls up to 1.5m thick), and surrounded by a moat. The castle is a popular destination for family trips, offering two children-friendly routes, that are both informative and offering some hands-on experience: the route of the towers, and the route of the knights. Regular falconry demonstrations add another highlight. Muiden, the Netherlands. October 2008. Canon EOS 300X, Sigma 28-135. Post-processing: retouch, noise reduction, perspective correction, sharpening.

  • i took this foto of a retaining wall of a car park under an apartment building… in Newtown…. because i like the geometric shapes. i didn’t notice until i saw the foto on the computer screen weeks later that one of the bricks was broken!

  • ....church and gate from a street in Paddington, Sydney / i just like the shapes.

  • the next view of the amazing Silo’s in Newtown in Sydney… in this long upward sweep of the building a random mysterious sweep of light has found it’s way into the image… I have no idea what it is or where it came from…. it’s one of those random things that come about with film… and I do love to use film for that reason…. it’s so unrational and that in it’s self is so satisfiying…. one never really knows what is going to emerge on the negative… and that randomess is magnifyed expodentially with IR film…. eyes closed and fingers crossed and hope like hell that something interesting will emerge….like here…. / . /

  • The view of Downtown Winnpeg from top of the hill at Westview Park (aka Garbage Hill). Taken June 7th, 2009 at 6:00pm. / Camera: Canon Rebel XT w/ 18-55mm zoom lens.

  • St Paul’s Cathedral Melbourne / (Victoria, Australia) / St Paul’s was designed by William Butterfield (except for the spires) and built in a revival of the style known as Gothic transitional, being partly Early English and partly Decorated. The foundation stone was laid in 1880. and the cathedral was consecrated in 1891. The organ, acknowledged as the finest surviving work of TC Lewis, was imported from England. (Information from Wikipedia). / I walked in just as the organ was playing and then had a brief chat to the assistant organist, as he turned out to be, as he was about to leave – he said this organ was still one of the highest regarded organs in the world. I’m sure he knew what he was talking about as he was no mean player. / The architect died during the cathedral’s construction, and the cathedral spires were separately designed and added after the the rest of the cathedral was completed. / / (ref fotoWERNER 3H0906.6838) / Nikon D300 with Nikon 12-24DX and perspective correction / 5sec at f/20 ISO 200 / Sales History: 1 x medium size framed print sold on RB (unknown buyer) /
