The image has been created as an alternative to the popular and greatly exaggerated theory of global warming and its consequences. Since global warming activists predict a dramatic change of the planet’s surface in the nearest future, the Ice Age Premonition portrays our society in the new Ice Age. / Ice Age – A cold period marked by episodes of extensive glaciations alternating with episodes of relative warmth. Any geologic period during which thick ice sheets cover vast areas of land. Such periods of large-scale glaciations may last several million years and drastically reshape surface features of entire continents. A number of major ice ages have occurred throughout the Earth’s history; the most recent periods were during the Pleistocene Epoch. There have been at least four major ice ages in the Earth’s past. The last glacial period ended about ten thousand years ago. / Surrealism art prints / Digital art prints / Fantasy digital art wallpapers

Dear William; Well honey its been 9 days I have been down here in the submersible, I’m studying the dolphins this month. I wish you were here to see them all interacting, its just amazing. They dont seem to be bothered with my presence anymore. / Ive been studying these beautiful creatures daily and the team wants to test their certain abilities and game behavior. We placed large cubed objects on the floor of the ocean to which they could be tested for long extended periods of time. It didnt take long until they did accept the objects, or even the lights going on when they entered them. Our little friends appeared to love this one in front of me the most and are joyously entertaining themselves daily with little games like, who can could turn through the cube the quickest. The elders are less likely to join in but remain near by. Perhaps their knowledge of such non sea elements are considered a breach of territory or considered a possible threat. / Well I better get back to work….Talk soon! / . / . / . / Journal Entry: June 12th, 2012 / Day 9…. / Quadrant 8 / Subjects: Ling’s Pod / Time: 2:34pm / Grouping: Ling’s pod has remained since dropping the cubes. No other pods have appeared. / Territorial Issues: Ling appears watchful of outside interference, even small fish / Flashing Light Reactions: Adults still unsettled, young adults intriqued / Gaming: The young adults appear most engaged while others try but end quickly, still unsure why / Emotional Stress: None at this time / Time of Cubing Interactions: Mostly between 10am & 4:40pm, seems feeding schedules counter the play activity. ©2007 Lisa C. An abandoned residence in the community of Gaskers in St. Mary’s bay which is in the process of being demolished. The Canadian government imposed a moratorium on the Northern cod fishery on 2 July 1992. The closure ended almost 500 years of fishing activity in Newfoundland and Labrador. / The cod moratorium sparked the single largest mass layoff in Canadian history and put about 30,000 fishers and plant workers out of work. In the 10 years following the moratorium, the province’s population dropped by a record 10 per cent, leaving a large number of houses abandoned in rural fishing communities all across the island.

On Outpost 94 in the planetary system of Carasenia the KXZ-7 Aero-Submersibles are being tested for speed, strength, agility, via liquid or space travel. When approaching liquid surfaces the crafts exterior openings close which externally create a likeness to the creatures living below the surface. / The density, movement affecting propelltion via liquid have been pushed to the limits and have been tracked up to speeds of mach 4. While in space a average of mach 9 is common for these small 4 man crafts. With this new technology the inhabitants will be well preparded for battles above or below and have a better postioning stance against invaders of any sort. . / . / . / Lisa C. Located off the Mid North Coast of NSW Australia, it is the most distant from the coast and only one of two island lighthouses in NSW. The original buildings were built in 1880 and housed 2 families – 1 person died on the island. The lighthouse was automated in 1975. The keepers cottages have been abandoned since 1975. Access to the island is only by helicopter and restricted by National Parks & Wildlife. National Parks opened the building for public access for 1 weekend in August 2008 – 226 people were lucky enough to visit the island. The buildings will be opened again in July 2009 – contact PrecisionHelicopters for further info
