  • Angled shot taken inside the Anglican Cathedral in Liverpool. Really enjoy finding new angles and views within this building and its a great place to practice my photography. / . / Spent a lot of time with the position and cropping of this image to produce the desired look. / . / Your comments always help. / . / ste / . / Location: The Lady Chapel / . / The first part of the Cathedral to be completed and consecrated for worship was the Lady Chapel. The style of this lovely Chapel, which stands at the far south east corner of the Cathedral, is more elaborate than the main body of the Cathedral in a way which reflects its date and the influence of G F Bodley who was, at that time, working with the Cathedral architect.

  • Caught with Viral fever and resting at home, my temptation to work on doesn’t end. Presenting one more work on light :) This one I sighted few days back when I was li’l resting in Naval Civilian Housing Colony’s rest house. As I left the room way back I thought it might be a good !dea :)) I preferred to post B&W conversion for this. Sure I’m not gonna tempt for color. I have repocessed this image to add some LIGHT :) Hope everyone will enjoy!! Reprocessed in CS3 ( 07.05.2009 ). Equipment : Canon EOS 400D, Canon EF S 10 – 22mm lens. Hand held.

  • Aren’t you glad this isn’t your home?? My husband and I drove by this abandoned house the other day. This is the first time I’ve been able to get inside one. Usually I’m toting the kids, and can only get a quick shot of the outside. Oh man, this place was TRASHED! But so fun to photograph! Unfortunantly, I didn’t have a tripod, nor was there really anything to use as one, so only a couple of my HDR shots didn’t turn out a complete blury. HDR This piece was featured on the Redbubble Homepage May 23,2009 and in Dilapidated Buildings group, Eerie Lighting group and A Photographer’s Craft. • Another image from this weeks late night stroll in back alleys off of Hosier Lane, in Melbourne’s CBD. The varying lighting and shadows helped to create mood which varied dependent upon the angle and direction of the shots. Quite eerie and daunting shooting this series alone, next time I must get someone to come along!!!!! This is a three shot HDR converted in Photomatix, shot with a Canon 400D – 17-85 lens. Want to see some other great shots of this place then visit Alistair Wilson’s link in the comments section…............. /

  • My Website Been away for a few days and managed to shoot some landscapes. / Sorry for not catching up with everyone’s work but will try to catch up over the next day or so :) Solitude Standing Solitude stands by the window / She turns her head as I walk in the room / I can see by her eyes she’s been waiting / Standing in the slant of the late afternoon And she turns to me with her hand extended / Her palm is split with a flower with a flame Solitude stands in the doorway / And I’m struck once again by her black silhouette / By her long cool stare and her silence / I suddenly remember each time we’ve met And she turns to me with her hand extended / Her palm is split with a flower with a flame And she says “I’ve come to set a twisted thing straight” / And she says “I’ve come to lighten this dark heart” / And she takes my wrist, I feel her imprint of fear / And I say “I’ve never thought of finding you here” I turn to the crowd as they’re watching / They’re sitting all together in the dark in the warm / I wanted to be in there among them / I see how their eyes are gathered into one And then she turns to me with her hand extended / Her palm is split with a flower with a flame And she says “I’ve come to set a twisted thing straight” / And she says”l’ve come to lighten this dark heart” / And she takes my wrist, I feel her imprint of fear / And I say “I’ve never thought of finding you here” Solitude stands in the doorway / And I’m struck once again by her black silhouette / By her long cool stare and her silence / I suddenly remember each time we’ve met And she turns to me with her hand extended / Her palm is split with a flower with a flame Suzanne Vega

  • Sacre Coeur, Paris. The amazingly original basilica is located in Montmartre, leading to the highest point of Paris city. First constructed in 1875, it was not completed until 1914, due to a problematic law system that almost stopped construction entirely. Only saved by a loophole, construction finally continued to the end. I didn’t get to spend as much time here as I would normally like to, but the climb to the top of the tower was worth it for the incredible view of the city below. Original shot layered twice, with 3 textures, colour altering of each layer, blending of layers, further colour altering and an omni light effect.
