  • A barn surrounded and hidden by trees, bushes and vines.

  • These were my Great Grandfather’s fishing shacks located in West Pennant, Nova Scotia. Unfortunately the last big storm has taken it’s toll on the old buildings and the main wharf is falling down. I myself have fished from this wharf with my Dad so I find it a very sad thing to see The fog came in the harbour thick today on account of the milder weather so I grabbed this shot If this is not quite what you are looking for you can check out the work of my Fiance “sruhs”http://www.redbubble.com/people/sruhs. We are most often together on photography excursions so his shots are of similar content; however, he has a different perspective and therefore his images are quite different.

  • This elegant structure stands as testament to the faith and good works of thr Children of Peace. In 1825-1832 master carpenters Ebenezer and John Doan constructed it to the plans of religious leader David Willson who was inspired by Biblical descriptions of Solomons Temple and the New Jerusalem. The square plan symbolized the sect’s egalitarian beliefs and cooperative principles. Once a month and on Holidays the Temple was the scene of music-filled ceremonies. The rescue from demolition in 1918 by the York Pioneer and Historical Society is an early example of historic conservation in Canada….. taken from the brass plaque.

  • Here is a building, I have no clue what kind, it was too far away, but I loved how it was surrounded by the huge colourful maple trees and the green grass. I hope you all like it too! Check out in larger view! Thanks so much for commenting and looking! =)smile / / /

  • Deep autumn shadows on an old tobacco barn in central Tennessee. / This is a working barn; you can barely see some leaves strung up for aging inside the open door. I took this photo along the Natchez Trace Pkwy near Columbia Tennessee. Here’s a detailed view of tobacco strung up in the rafters for aging /

  • Quaint little cemetery chapel in Stockland, IL. It is the chapel the “Chapel” bridge (see the card on the right) is named after. It has beautiful stained glass windows and is frequently the setting for a wedding! There is no electricity and I am unsure of its age other than really old! / /
