The first of a number of shots of the view from the top of the Empire State Building. I know shots of this type are a bit of a cliche but I like it! The viewing platform is on the 86th story…..thats 1453 feet! I was tempted to hock a lugi but my age got the better of me and I managed to restrain myself. Also….they blocked off a bit of the viewing platform because Patti Labelle was making an appearance….I got a shot of her too….and again had the lugi thought but the 8 foot body guard made me change my mind again….......
