Image captures reflections of the clouds, off a building in downtown Dallas. It was a beautiful day! If you are ever in this fine city, pay real close attention to all signs. It might be better just to grab a cab! As for me, I dont think I will ever go back, unless its in a police car and beyond my control. For making a left turn, with signs posted, its $190.00 . For failure to show, it another $60.00. If I am so lucky, a special trip to see even more of their fine city-——PRICELESS! / For $190.00, you would think you could get a live operator!

A dreamy night with a full moon, slight fog that turns an imaginative city into a hopeful reality. Sennelier pastel on sanded paper.
Inside the old derelict stable i found at the weekend, seems to have been a shelter for sheep, judging by the amount of sheep droppings were inside!!
Photo of the old Telegraph Station House at Cape Otway in Victoria.
this is the next in my current series of uploads. All of these IR landscapes were were shot at the old Reshes site on Lachlan street in Sydney some years back when it was being demolished. I took quite a lot of photo’s of the site over a period of time but waited till the sky was just so to use the infrared film…... it just seems to bring out all the latent drama trapped within the mundane….

Taken last year on the 29/12/08, not many storms this year(only 1 really) . / Not sure on this one due to the amount of white surrounding the bolt, too much? Send to the scrap heap and wait for the next one? Looking across the Southport Broadwater towards the hi-rises of Main Beach. / 30seconds f5.6. Lens 18mm View more of my storm images / / Storms
this was taken in antwerp in brussels. the clouds were so ominous and foreboding in such a way it looked almost surreal out of a horror movie or something.
Boston Harbour very early morning with a lovely but fast moving mist gave the scene a lovely orange glow, I had just enough time in between lens changes to catch the rowers passing by. Canon 10D, 17-40mm at 17mm, f/4, 1/1500 sec, ISO 100. No filters used. A small amount of dust and scratches removed in photoshop. Back to Canon to get the sensor cleaned. This shot is taken from the North Bridge entrance to the Scotsman Building (once the headquarters for the Scotsman newspaper, but now the 5 star Scotsman Hotel). Looking past the City Art Centre on the left, to the Bank of Scotland Building with its distinctive green dome. Situated on the Mound, the former Bank of Scotland headquarters, now headquarters of the merged HBOS, has dominated the northern flank of Edinburgh’s Old Town for 300 years. The Bank of Scotland Building is an Historic Scotland Category A Listed Building (HB Number 28263). Behind the Bank of Scotland Building you can see a small part of the magnificent Edinburgh Castle on top of the rock. CANON Digital IXUS 980 IS / Yorkshire, UK / Fountains Abbey was founded in 1132 following a dispute and riot at St Mary’s Abbey in York. Following the riot, thirteen monks were exiled and after unsuccessfully attempting to return to the early 6th century Rule of St Benedict, were taken into the protection of Thurstan, Archbishop of York. He provided them with a site in the valley of the River Skell. The enclosed valley had all the required materials for the creation of a monastery, providing shelter from the weather, stone and timber for building, and a running supply of water. The monks applied to join the Cistercian order in 1132. / The abbey operated for over 400 years, until 1539, when Henry VIII ordered the Dissolution of the Monasteries.

Old stables of the abandoned mining town of the Cerro del Hierro (“Iron Hill”) in Seville (Andalusia, Spain). Another attempt at something a little bit different for me. I generally stick to colour, but I thought I would try converting a few of my images into mono.
