This was taken from the footbridge over the Yarra River at Southbank in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, looking back north east toward Flinders Street train station. The sun was just starting to peek through the mornings thick fog, and appeared as a small, solid white disk through the lifting fog. The transcendental art of fire dancing, combined with a backdrop of stark, urban-industrial desolation. / The background represents the state of one’s life (like the inside of their mind) and the subject twirling fire represents the transmuting of this apathy of existence into the realization that there is so much more to life and the Universe than what is going on in their head.
