The quite spectacular lobby of an otherwise unremarkable building in Bourke Street, Melbourne.
For those not from Melbourne, this building is actually the Melbourne Exhibition Centre but we locals like to call it Jeff’s shed because when it was built it was seen as something of a folly of our rather arrogant and autocratic then incumbent state premier.
I took this picture in Helsingborg, Sweden. What caught my attention was the angle and the beautiful colours. I’m a big fan of perspectives so I had to switch on my camera. check what the product looks like here thank you for stopping by!

A (I believe) typical house on the Greek island Santorini. It is a ‘tuned’ version of this according to suggestions in the For Critique forum.

I must admit Impressionism has always been my favorite art movement and Van Gogh a talent unmatched. I also must admit that this piece was strongly influenced by Van Gogh’s masterful Starry Night. / / zazzle / zazzle

Part of an ongoing series of organic vs man made.Or maybe just a fascination with curves and straight lines either way i felt this one had to be done as a follow on from the first. Thanks sjem. for pushing me in the right direction.
Greece’s typical blue & white – I found these shutters just simply irresistible :) Canon EOS450D with kit lens (18-55mm)
Last shot of the day in downtown Chicago. As I was returning home, waiting in the subway for my train, there was a man with the most soulful voice singing for tips. Ain’t No Sunshine When She’s Gone originally by Bill Withers is how I wish I could title this image because that was the last song I heard him sing as my train pulled away. I also thought it was interesting that behind the woman sits a child’s shoe even though no one else was around.
