I started off using only tints and tones of Yellow and Purple. I then slowly added red and blue; defeating the idea of a limited colour piece. Acrylic & Fineliner
Old door in the Ukrainian village house
This shot was taken at night and shows the famous three sisters buildings on the left and the car park on the right. The reflections of all the lights are dramatic.
It was quite unintentional but I just happened to be passing a car with a curved rear window which reflected this unusual image of a Regency Terrace across the road. The owner, who was approaching his ‘Pride & joy’, was somewhat surprised when he caught me peering into the window but was pleased when I showed him the shot on my viewfinder and was not about to break into his car. This Bandstand, which has recently undergone renovation, is located on the seafront (close to the West Pier) in Brighton, England. It was designed by Philip Lockwood and was completed in 1884. Trendy and fashionable clothing shop located in central Brighton, UK. The image of Clint Eastwood (as Dirty Harry) above the shop does not only create a lot of interest but, I’m sure, also helps to increase sales. Now that’s what I call ingenious!
This is an upper view of an old Pub located in The Lanes area of Brighton, UK. As for the door near the roof you’ve no doubt guessed that it’s no longer in use but was once the access for storage in the olden days when there would have been a winch above to hoist supplies.
One of the bow-fronted windows of this historic Victorian Pub which is the oldest in ‘The Lanes’ of Brighton, UK. The Pub is full of old world charm & character and has an adjacent courtyard where the brewers once delivered barrels of ale by horse & cart.
This is ‘Embassy Court’ ; an Art Deco apartment block on the seafront in Brighton (well! Hove, actually) UK. It sadly went into decline some years ago but has recently undergone a major refurbishment, bringing it back to it’s original grandeur.
A popular nightclub which has recently undergone a colourful exterior face-lift.
One of the good disciplines about being an artist, be it painting or photography, is looking in all directions, especially upwards. So I was pleased when I discovered this building in a tucked away side street. Looking up and seeing the White Heart and Golden chimney pots just made my day…how imaginative!
This is a study centre and living accommodation for college students and is within a major newly built living quarter in Brighton, England. The surrounding area is still undergoing redevelopment.
This was taken from a photo in prague which i was inspired into turning it into a fantasy peice.

The Inner Halls of the York Minster in England. Such a wonderful building.
I have the most perfect view on the balcony to my apartment…I always get to view the different sunsets and it’s always such a peaceful quiet area. / I come out here numerous times at night just to get my thoughts in order, and relax. / I wish I had a different lense that could have caught a closer up version of this photo, but I wanted to capture the moment anyway.
