  • Sorry for not posting many shots over the past few weeks and not leaving any replies. I have been really busy with work and work around the house. I can tell you the past few days have been the worst choice to do some work around the Garden. Anyway here are two HDR – Sunrise shots from a few weeks ago taken from Victoria Road near the old White Bay Power Station. I hope you like it. • Landscape of the Lord St. Malo outside of Estes Park, Colorado. One of thee most photographed Churches in all of North America, I was VERY excited and VERY anxious to get this shot when I headed up to Rocky Mountain National Park. I was hoping that the weather would clear because behind this, covered in the clouds, is Mt. Meeker and it is just a stunning view with the mountains! I have to admit though, I am really happy how this came out. And if anything, it is quite unique compared to how it is usually shot. I suppose that is a good thing when it comes to photographing something that is such an icon. Generally, people walk down by the pond and shoot from there, I stayed up top on the side of the road, thus giving a different perspective than most. Also, the weather. It was dramatic as all heck! You could smell the rain as it came in, dark, but with so much drama in the sky. I was pretty lucky to get a shot like this. Ya, I am happy with it! • I was having lunch with my beautiful wife the other day at a rather unusual place, right across the road from my office. Never been there before… it was at the Northern Metropolitan Institute of Tafe and they have the special room on the third floor where trainee chefs get to practice their cooking skills and serve to the unsuspecting public. This was the view virtually from the table I was sitting at… the view was way better than the food!

  • More stones from Connemara! A building that is still used … the door was locked. It was stuck at the bottom of field with no evidence of what it might be used for.

  • This was shot in Arlington, WA. One of my favorite pics and the most featured, viewed and favorited of my works here on RedBubble. Thank you! / Using Photoshop, I adjusted the levels and saturation to bring out the colors. Three separate images were composited: old barn ruins, rainbow with tree and clouds. Clone stamped out a telephone wire as well. Trying something new, experimenting with my images in the Orton Style. Shot this with my Kodak Easy Share point & shoot camera. Brought it into Photoshop and added layers and different blending options as well as blur and sharpen.
