Stopped for some lunch at a farm house that was surrounded by high mountains and cows with bell’s lol . We travelled for about half an hour in this buggy which was just the best experience. Even though it was in the Summer (mid year) the the temp didn’t get any higher than 10C where we were.
Traditional mode of travel, still in use by some inhabitants of the Northern Cape, South Africa. This couple was really motoring, and kicking up quite a cloud of dust.

The Banana Splits themselves were an rock band made up of a dog (Fleegle), a lion (Drooper), a gorilla (Bingo), and a small elephant (Snorky). The band was designed to resemble The Monkees and they hosted the show by appearing in live-action bumpers between the components of the program. The Banana Buggies were modified Amphicat 6×6 ATV’s.
This was the last one that this little gal let me catch of her before she flew off…...guess she suddenly got shy….

By The Reichstag, Berlin one overcast friday morning in April. They were oblivious, besotted. I was about 4 or 5 metres from them taking shots of people crossing on a suspended walkway between two lagre government buildings. I swung my lens around more than a couple of times for some candid photography. They really were oblivious, bless ‘em. A question – do people in love always close their eyes just before they kiss like here?

Sunday morning in rural Pennsylvania. What a sight when all of these horse drawn buggies make their way to church. The ones that get there early, benefit from the covered parking. I love the buggy wheel trails leading onto the church grounds. Taken with Nikon D200 and Sigm 18-50mm f/2.8 lens.
Another treasure to be sure. In my minds eye I can see the town Doc arriving post haste to an emergency call in this buggy built for speed and looks as well. Any research which I found very limited seemed to indicate this was produced late 1890’s early 1900’s. Taken on Highway 14, Alberta.
