Third Place in the “Garden Full of Flowers” challenge in That’s Entertainment group July 8, 2009. / Featured in A Beautiful Blur February 9, 2009. This image was captured in my garden in Montgomery County, Maryland in the summer of 2008 with one of its more frequent guests passing through. Taken on the morning of July 18, 2008 with the Nikon D40x and the 70-300mm VR lens.
Found this on a walk to the slushie store with little one today! Loved the look of these two flowers. The bee’s both fuzzy and green guys were having a hay day on them

I went to take a pic of this rose in my parent’s garden and found it had a visitor which was almost the same colour as the rose petals. Taken with my Olympus mju770 point and shoot camera so this is best macro I could get. November 2008 Flowers
I took this photo this past summer when my daughter and I had her Bugville Butterfly pop-up treehouse. We had put fresh flowers in the bottom, and sprayed them with sugar water. This is a painted lady butterfly; and yes, to ease all your hearts they were let go after they matured! Thanks for viewing my work!!!
