I took Grahame and Katie to a park (called Victoria Park) in the centre of Portsmouth where I spent a lot of time as a young child, they had avaries filled with birds, I especially remember the peacocks I was always looking for discarded tail feathers. I was lucky one day and I clutched in my hand all the way home and kept it in a scrap book. There were also guinea pigs and rabbits and a big big greenhouse that used to make your cheeks red from the heat, I loved walking around the greenhouse looking at all the exotic plants and in the centre was a pond filled with goldfish and hugh lilypads with a little wooden bridge across. Sadly the big greenhouse has gone but the avaries are still there.
