I am really sick of winter, however today I was in my yard and spotted a few blossoms opening up on the tree by the side of the road. I couldn’t help my self but take some photos and dream of spring….. The back ground is just the sky.. I actually have 2 more images that I also like so I might put them up and see how they go :o)

This Rose Bud waiting to open up for the world to see, was in the garden at the Swan Inn, at the back of Dawlish. / It had a leaf directly above it, like a roof protecting it from the rain, but also shadowing the poor thing. I found this Poppy growing in the walled garden at Inverewe Botanical Garden … I can’t remember when I have seen such a beautiful one!

Large oak tree in California….....just breaking buds in spring. All the original limbs have broken off with age and snow load. These limbs are all secondary growth.

Taken in a light summer shower this vibrant rose still impresses. I wish I could do those lovely pictures with whole world in a droplet of water (but don’t know how …!) so this will just have to do for now… cheers ;)) Taken in the same shower as remember the time so it was well worth getting slightly damp.. :)))
