THESE ARE SOME OF MY VERY FAVOURITE PAINTINGS BLESSINGS. SARA CATENA
Photograph taken In the sacred temple of Asakusa in Tokyo, Japan. Burning incense is an ancient tradition that is always part of the Buddhism values, thus you start your spiritual journey here by lighting incense and spreading the smoke over your head.

Another sightseeing on Pamir – Stupa of Buddha – the place, where in ancient times Buddhist monks lived in small niches made right in the walls of mountains. This pyramid is named this way because the very top stone has the dent shaped as a person’s foot. If you’d like to see it as well – reach the Vrang village (the same road – Ishkashim – Langar along the river, ... and Afghanistan) and ask someone to show it to you. They would probably like you to show the water mill and mineral source as well. The children you see on picture are all from this village and were very happy to guide us. So have something with you to gift them (probably fruits, some clothes, school stuff, etc. or anything else you could bring with you – these mountain children would be happy with any kind of attention – first, and any kind of help second)

Always looking for interesting angles or views to show subject matter in different ways and felt this Buddha statue found at a temple in Sukhothai,Thailand fit the bill.
One section in the town of Mandalay is dedicated to the art of Buddha making and there are shops all over where they are making and selling Buddhas in all sizes and poses. Was attracted to the clean fresh feel of this white stone Buddha.
