Tara is the Tibetan Buddhist feminine half of Buddha. In this piece I drew White Tara as she is the aspect of Tara that is compassionate and sensitive. I believe White Tara is crying a river of tears right now. I wonder if she will get tired of crying and give up on her children. When will we stop playing war games and treat one another with compassion? / There was also a report on the Gyuto Monks Tantric Choir. Sukhothai was the capital of the first Kingdom of Siam in the 13th and 14th centuries. It has a number of fine monuments, illustrating the beginnings of Thai architecture. The great civilization which evolved in the Kingdom of Sukhothai absorbed numerous influences and ancient local traditions; the rapid assimilation of all these elements forged what is known as the ‘Sukhothai style’.
