I found this Poppy growing in the walled garden at Inverewe Botanical Garden … I can’t remember when I have seen such a beautiful one!
I am really sick of winter, however today I was in my yard and spotted a few blossoms opening up on the tree by the side of the road. I couldn’t help my self but take some photos and dream of spring….. The back ground is just the sky.. I actually have 2 more images that I also like so I might put them up and see how they go :o)

I am hoping to see my brother on Christmas and armed once again with my camera I shall seek the intense colors of Kauai. We shall see. fingers crossed. I wanted to feel good so I went through my photos from Kauai and found this one. I am amazed by the Bird of Paradise, always have been.
