I decided to change the design because I felt the original did not tell enough of a story.. The Story… In our modern fast paced world, we need to do all we can to attract “shoppers” into our stalls. Countries are no different I guess. So sometimes tradition and decorum must be sacrificed to the advertising Gods. Sergeant UgeLipz, of the Queens Guards unwrapped his favourite Cuban Cigar, and, in front of the Palace, did the unthinkable and called the world to London. :) I really am anti-smoking, but the image appealed to me too much, so I had to do it. :)

I did this earlier this year with this song in mind and heart… Crystal / (Buckinham/Nicks) Do you always trust your first initial feeling / Special knowledge holds true, bears believing I turned around and the water was closing all around like a glove / Like the love that finally found me / Then I knew in the crystaline knowledge of you / Drove me through the mountains / Through the crystal like and clear water fountain / Drove me like a magnet / To the sea / To the sea How the faces of love have changed turning the pages / And I have changed, oh, but you, you remain ageless Like the love that finally found me / Then I knew in the crystaline knowledge of you / Drove me through the mountains / Through the crystal like and clear water fountain / Drove me like a magnet / To the sea… / To the sea… / ... The changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace in late October 2007.
As we walked through St James and Green Park , we passed Buckingham Palace. The exterior wrought iron gates ( in another photo fully but on the left here) and if you look over the wall, the entry gates to the Palace, are very ornate. / The Queen’s Residence in Scotland is Balmoral Castle – both have elegance and style and are unique to the UK. The type of flag on the flagpole tells you whether the Queen is in residence or not. Yesterday it was the Union Jack and she was not ‘at home’.
These beautifully worked wrought iron gates are an entrance to Buckingham Palace area from the Park – they are very tall and it’s difficult to get the right perspective – they are much wider than shown but I cropped a little to let you see the intricate work. You can see the marble statue fountain through them which stands directly in front of the Palace. Best viewed Large

...and the butterflies whispered in my ear, “Hold On”...
Took this for a girlfriend of mine (Anastasia…the girl in the photo). When we were graduating highschool, no portrait studios would do senior pictures like she wanted…so I did a couple.
To those of you who called me that….
