  • This guy was pretty cool, sitting there minding his own business, and I just had to get the shot. But as I lifted the camera and looked through the lens he just broke into this mean stare into the lens like he was gonna hurt me. I saw it and quickly pressed the shutter. Later I complimented him on his tattoos and showed him the shot and it was then that his frown turned into a broad grin…phew!

  • A photograph/drawing with “home made P.S.” the only difference is that the objects were live, hand picked and hand applied. It was made with layers of nature, reflections and things around the house.Final step was under water.

  • The other day I did a shoot with Tiffany and she shouted “We have to do a shoot in the pond!” I thought she meant on/around the pond, but she definitely meant IN the pond. I thought that would be awesome but it was so cold that I didn’t really give it a second thought. We got lucky with the weather because it was in the 70s, but the water was still pretty cold and Tiffany had to take a hot shower and I fed her hot chocolate and then hot tea as she snuggled in a blanket while we looked through the photos. Despite freezing her it was really fun.

  • Twas amazing floating around in the water next to you my dear, the silence was comfortable, but why, my dear, did you not say you could not swim? It was great to be back in the water to take underwater shots again, had to wait a year almost! / But this shot is inspired by a brilliant South African band called Dear Reader. This song is a poignant song with a double twist. It is about apartheid and the seperation between the two races and how black and whites couldn’t be in love… who prevents love? It shows how hearts were torn apart due to the inhumane time in South Africa. White in the Dark… love is most powerful and not even barriers, both physical and figurative, can stop it… Great White Bear He climbed into the belly of the great white bear / It’s very sticky and it smells a little fishy / But no one will look for him there / He took a moment to pick his thoughts and make them clear Oh, what a day it’s been / Oh, what a terrible state he’s in (x2) Her eyes are wired, there’s a hat over her thick black hair / They’re racing through the snow / Their sweaty hands keep slipping / But they’re almost there / Her father’s shotgun ringing out now through the cold night air Oh, what a fix they’re in / Oh, what a terrible sin / Oh, what a fix they’re in / Oh, what a terrible sinister game / The hunter did play / To give them the hope / That they could get away / When biding his time / He did wait down the line / To bring a disaster / On their youthful dreams of escape Oh what a day it’s been / Oh what a day it’s been Run, there’s a bullet in your back / Run, run, there’s a bullet in your back / Run, run, run, there’s a bullet in your back / But I wouldn’t take it back, I wouldn’t take it back / Run, run, run, there’s a bullet in your back / But I wouldn’t take it back, I wouldn’t take it back / Run, run, run, there’s a bullet in your back / But I wouldn’t take it back, I wouldn’t take it back / Run, run, run there’s a bullet in your back / And I want to take it back I want to, want to / I want to, want you / I want you, want you / I want you, want you, want you, want you back Do watch the Video, its a piece of art itself / Featured in Blue Art

  • This is inspired by Zebra & Giraffe, a local band from South Africa. Black Crow I thought I was invincible / Until I tried to take you on – without the pills / I thought your love was something sweet / 7 years you wait for me – for me I never thought I’d be your one / That said, you’re forcing me to love, to love, you Now you’re with someone I know – comeback / I think back all those nights before, they make me nervous now / Our love became the black crow / And I, tried, but I’m glad it’s over now I never thought you’d leave me here / Lying in the water and I rust, I rust, I rust / I fell apart oh baby please / Tell me you still love me I came back all those nights / I’d still do wrong but right / Do you wanna have me just one more time? / I saw your black eyes lie / If we turn to dust we won’t die / Before the crow comes back can I kiss you one last time? / One last time? No? Now you’re with someone I know – comeback / I think back all those nights before, they make me nervous now / Our love became the black crow / And I, tried, but I’m glad it’s over now Featured In Live, Love, Dream / Oh So Emotional:SAD
