Shot this back in November, 2004, when the grass was much greener, and there was water in the dam. There’s only been water in that dam one other time since then, and it lasted around 6 weeks….this is a nice reminder of what we used to have…. Sold this a number of times pre-redbubble, mostly A3 size, and it won me a $1500 prize from the Brisbane City Council, as well the John Herbert medal at APSCON 2005, and also a number of other smaller prizes. This was sold december 2008 on redbubble as a matted print. When self timer counted down to zero, well, just a nano-tad before… I dropped the two tangerines into a water-filled aquarium with blue paper background. Flash triggered as timer ran out. Idea came to me in a very wet dream…

This is one of my personal faves. It was taken about 20 minutes after the Blue Wet Zebra. / The clouds were dark, the sky was colourful. / As i was fiddling with the cam, the sun came up like this! And the window was still dripping in a cool way. / I like this, coz it got my favourite colours in it!! As is! / 928 views / A bit abstract isnt it. Best viewed LARGE! I had a vision to turn my colorful bug images into sepia toned black and white images with a touch of color. But didn’t know how, until today…..
