I didn’t mean for it to be so super-cute… perhaps i’ll do a more serious version someday…with her heart held in her hands… but for now, here’s the cute version…by far the cutest thing i’ve ever created! Stay tuned for the huge version of this design, as well a a pyjama top version!!! coming soon….to a bubble near you!!! I came up with the idea…that tiny things are just as important as big things…. / a tiny heart gifts as much life as a huge heart / a tiny tree gives us air to breathe / a tiny star provides light to guide us….. It matters not that things are small, or have small beginnings, they are still worthwhile, as worthwhile as the big things, and as it says in the song / from little things big things grow / / /

The vessel (symbol for being) in light and time, absorbs, reflects, refracts and transmits information to and from the surfaces around. “Reality is a game of illusion, delusion, perception and deception … The trickster (an archetype, a boundary dweller) exists to question, to cause us to question and not accept things blindly.” (Quote by Ellie Crystal). In the light of spirit I reflect that the boundaries that separate us are not as real as they appear, that our personal distinctions are illusory and that we are connected with all in the sea of universal consciousness, a fusion, a melting point. ................................ / ................................

Once the Chunkies are created and photographed, I usually dismantle them to be used in the creation of more chunkies, so I am recycling the plasticine. These Chunkies have been very therapeutic to create over the holidays, whilst taking a break from red bubble and having my family around. I have many more to come, and although I won’t be on RB as much, I hope to also be doing some serious painting this year…so i look forward 2009 with much anticipation … / / Framed Print

Sitting at the dinner table I noticed a rather unusual shot! This is a macro picture of a small clear glass dish, containing Pure Olive Oil (for dressing a salad). The brown colour is the mahogany dining table, the pink colour (don’t ask!) is a rather ‘loud’ coloured napkin, both as seen through the clear glass dish. The large circular shape is an air bubble, with a splash of water floating on top of the Olive Oil. The pink in the air bubble is simply a reflection of the napkin (easy really)!
