Imagine being born again. Only this time your mother is the earth and you come fully equipped with memories, knowledge and a belief system. What raw emotions are evoked when the first thing you are confronted with is an environment completely foreign to what you were expecting? / Fear, confusion, doubt and loneliness. / Or because of the new environment one may lose their inhibitions, feel joy or perhaps discover inner strength and courage. Maybe the nine images are a true metaphorical reflection of the artists soul? / His background and love for the stage and theatre. / His longing to find true love and a wanting audience. / The ongoing battle of time and money between industry and creative / fulfilment. A few metaphors can be applied here. / There was definately a little humour surrounding the shoot as I was explaing to Rachelle the emotion that I wanted her eyes to portray (which she did perfectly!) eventually the album we decided to “chew” apart was Liberace’s “The Look of Love album!!” LOL! / The cover had Liberache himself giving the look of love (eeeep!), naturally we used that as inspiration! :D This and another 2 images will be on display at the BSG Picture This exhibition that began last Friday.
