I call this ‘My Backyard’ as it is the view from my new terrace. I actually really enjoy my view, despite the lack of ‘yard’. Despite being in the centre of the city, we still have a fairly private spot and aren’t looking directly at our neighbours. The big tower in the background is Madou Tower, a major metro stop here in Brussels.

This is the largest urban public park in the center of Brussels. It is surrounded by the Royal Palace of Brussels, the Belgian parliament and the U.S.A. embassy. In the summer, free parties are organized every weekend in the heart of this park.
