I’m having the equivalent of a garage sale, except that money is not allowed. I will be accepting only 2 forms of payment – wine or art. Everything in my house is going: My art supplies, furniture, clothes, props, a kitchen full of stuff in great condition (I don’t cook) and some outdoor furniture. Basically, open a cupboard, and if there is stuff in it, you can swap it for art or wine. At the end of it all, I’m hoping to plaster my walls with swapped art and have people around to stare at it while drinking swapped wine. Why? Why not. / Date: Sunday October 5th / Location: 154 Albert Street, Brunswick / / I’d also like to invite other people to bring their things along to swap for art or wine. Drop me a line if you’re interested. So far jemimalovesbigted will be joining me so better ask what wine she likes too!

  • This was taken in Miramichi, New Brunswick. The old Ferry would transport people from “Old Ferry road” in Douglastown to Chatham until shortly after they built the Centennial bridge in 1967. Now remains burned pieces of wood and bolts. This was one of my favorite places when I was younger, I would sit and often write poems there. -Fuji S5200 *All proceeds of sales are donated to the Hope Animal Shelter Please check out my other gallery here at RedBubble, Macabrecat , for my cat photography. • Sawmill Creek / Spans Saw Mill Creek near Hopewell Hill, just off Route 114, 5 km east of Riverside-Albert, Albert County, New Brunswick, Canada. Length 108 feet, built in 1905 (no longer is use) Canada’s Atlantic Province of New Brunswick is famous for it’s covered bridges, the longest covered bridge in the world is located in this province. There are 68 covered bridges left in the province. Some are still serving their intended purpose while others are no longer in service but stand as reminders of quieter, simpler times. / Why cover a bridge with a roof and boarded in sides? The cover protected the timbers from the rotting effects of sun and rain. A covered bridge has a life expectancy of 80 years or more while an uncovered bridge could only expect to be serviceable for 10 or 20 years. They proved to be a practical solution in this land of many rivers and streams and an abundant supply of timber.
