  • ... and now for something completely different… This is a winter scene shot in Tervuren, Belgium. This was taken on 35mm film, but as I couldn’t live without a bit of PS post processing, I added the canvas effect to give it a painted appearance. If it bores everyone, I’ll take it off and replace it with something wacko with a horse… to keep the nature theme going on…

  • This is looking from Mt Warrenheip back down over the town of Ballarat, last winter, with the snow storm passing after dumping on the town and surrounding areas, you can see the snow lined streets in the distance. We are in winter now and have this to look forward to again over the next few months. brrrrrrr… /

  • A tiny spiders web holds strong against the weight of frost. Not the greatest macro but it was super tiny and there was a breeze which kept moving the web.

  • At the end of my frosty hike i discovered this tiny warm oasis from the frost! it was so peaceful that I could have spent hours down there surrounded by silence and the warmth. with a last look around and sigh i began the long harsh hike but up to the top of the gully. with a saddened heart I left this oasis and ascended but up into the world of frost. I plan on returning to this hidden garden as often as possible year round. :)
