I took this picture a couple of years ago at the beach of Marina di Grosseto, Tuscany, Italy. / This is a fine example I think of how a fisheye lens can completely change the feeling of an ordinary scene. The subject is simply some surf on the seashore, captured from a distance of not more than a foot. / The original picture is a Fuji Velvia 50 Iso medium format slide. Hope you enjoy it, thanks for dropping by. Paolo

Thoughts become Things is a mixed media production on thick watercolour paper. / The painting emphasises the idea that ‘thoughts become things’....here is a creative little girl geting stuck into making all sorts of things while relaxing in the bath (where she gets inspiration)....Just like me, when the inspiration comes it doesn’t matter where you are or what you’re doing, you just begin the creative process…..be it in the bathtub, shower, sitting on the loo…..that’s artists for you :D newspaper sealed with wax, fabric, thread, stitching, little typewritten texts pasted on, buttons, wool, string, golden thread, buttons, feathers, felt, you name it, it’s in this painting….
