My inspiration for this design was based on the Blaxploitation movies of 70s, such as Shaft and Foxy Brown.
Colored pencil illustration of a maple leaf, beautifully drawn in the burnt oranges of autumn, a beautiful reminder of the Fall season for lovers of nature, or a great gift for Canada Day!
mmmmmm jello! This tee has been Shirtheaded
This is a shirt design featuring my original acrylic work named “First Tree”, This is truly the first tree I ever painted, the need to paint and create was something brewing so strongly inside I had to do something about it. Yet my resources were very limited, I grabbed the only paint I had any access to, a can of my father’s black spray paint, I sprayed it into the lid of the can and used the only paintbrush I owned a cheep nylon brush from a water color kit and created. I then finished my work with the only two pastels I owned brown and black. / Necessity is the mother of invention, or maybe it’s that there is more than one way to skin a cat. (Sorry cat lovers) At any rate I grew up in a home with very few luxuries but I did have a passion to create, always, I had to feed the creativity. / So this is a very special piece to me and I hope to you as well. I just coiuldn’t decide which colour-scheme I like the most, so here is another one to accompany Blueberry bliss and Apple blossom ;-)
Deep in the jungle, wild creatures stir. Dead foliage crunches under your tan-booted feet, but it is not the only sound. Clutching your elephant rifle, you pray for a clearing while cursing the trees. You spin left… nothing. And that’s when you hear it, the deep breathe of your prey, the panther. Available in asphalt, army, cranberry, brown, forest and navy, Safari is part of the Sandman Series of Orange Alexander. Sold exclusively on redbubble.
Thick in the brush of Montana, there’s a man. Sporting an orange vest, he crouches, perched dangerously in a high oak tree. Far down the mountainside walks the majestic black bear, standing over a stream, preparing to paw some salmon. The hunter takes up his rifle, and stares down the scope. In his circular view, the bear pauses, almost sensing the crosshair. Lowering his weapon, the hunter is overwhelmed by nature. Available in army and brown, Hunter is part of the Sandman Series of Orange Alexander. Sold exclusively on redbubble.
