Blue Contour II is a modern abstract painting of a young, nude, and beautiful woman. The work outlines the sensual contours of the female torso. / The work is of a semi-erotic nature showing the bare buttocks and back of a sensual female. The original work of art, a 50×70 cm hand painted canvas (framed) has been SOLD to Phil and Lorraine, Gokova, Turkey 27 June 2009. Following my recent Art Exhibition in Gokova I approached a local bar-resturant and enquired as to whether they would be interested in displaying my original works. We negotiated a percentage commission on sale. This is the first to be bought from this venue. / / / ! / A selection of products in my Zazzle store: More choices from Zazzle: Wear My Art – Check out Female Contemporary Art on Apparel here: See more of taiche at ZAZZLE / Baby Custom T-Shirts :dress that baby up with a special design on a custom t-shirt, long sleeve or onesize / Kids Custom T-Shirts .from organic t-shirts to long sleeve shirts, boys, girls, and toddlers can fill their fashion needs with a one-of-a-kind custom t-shirts for kids. Another subsection of the portrait gallery starts today…this is painted in watercolour on St Armand hand made linen paper…I was priveleged to visit the mill in Quebec, some years ago and was given a small mold and some pulp to start making my own paper, which I still make to this day…of course not so big…this is 3ft x 2ft…the white colour I used here is a smalll amount of body colour…the paper is terracotta…the title refers to a song by the same name…one of my favourite songs by a top Canadian group... As I painted this face, I thought “this is the girl on the subway”..don’t quite know why, but after posting the painting, I still think so... Watercolour on Yellow tinted St Armand Handmade Linen Paper FEATURED IN YELLOW GALLERY My life is brilliant. / My love is pure. / I saw an angel. / Of that I’m sure. / She smiled at me on the subway. / She was with another man. / But I won’t lose no sleep on that, / ‘Cause I’ve got a plan. You’re beautiful. You’re beautiful. / You’re beautiful, it’s true. / I saw your face in a crowded place, / And I don’t know what to do, / ‘Cause I’ll never be with you. Yeah, she caught my eye, / As we walked on by. / She could see from my face that I was, / Flying high, / And I don’t think that I’ll see her again, / But we shared a moment that will last till the end. You’re beautiful. You’re beautiful. / You’re beautiful, it’s true. / I saw your face in a crowded place, / And I don’t know what to do, / ‘Cause I’ll never be with you. You’re beautiful. You’re beautiful. / You’re beautiful, it’s true. / There must be an angel with a smile on her face, / When she thought up that I should be with you. / But it’s time to face the truth, / I will never be with you*. MUSIC / Girl / She’s Like The Wind
This song is my mantra…I believe in the words, I live by it, and I listen to it as often as possible…it is sung by Linda Eder, and it’s about the artist Camille Claudel who was married to Rodin, and though she was a wonderful artist in her own right, she lived in his shadow all her days…Linda’s husband Frank Wildhorn, wrote it for the play by the same name…..no one else can sing it like she does... Watercolour on St Armand Linen Paper FEATURED IN.. / MUSIC INSPIRED ART / CREATIVE CARDS / THE SISTERHOOD TURN UP YOUR SOUND AND LISTEN TO THE MUSIC I wonder if when all is done / Anyone heard my voice / But from the start we have no choice / Our journeys just begin. I’ll never know if I was right / Did I fight hard enough? / When the battles grew too rough / Should I have given in? But here I stand and swear to you / I did the best that I could do... I know my voice was just a whisper / But someone may have heard / There were nights the moon above me stirred, / And let me grab a hold / My hands have touched the gold My hearts been driven by extremes / Blind with dreams, tight with fear / But still God knows that I was here / And I was so alive. And now I lay the past to rest / For in the end I did my best. You have to live the life you’re given / And never close your eyes / You hold on, and stare into the sky, / And burn against the cold / For any moment, you might find the gold! And there was joy / Through it all / And I am standing tall. I know my voice was just a whisper / But someone must have heard / There were nights the moon above me stirred, / And let my light take hold / I’d rode across that sky / And once I touched the gold. Here in my own two hands / I once had the gold / Dilys / You’re Beautiful / Girl / She’s Like The Wind / She’s Come Undone
