part of the vibration series. ( see pulse in works not for sale) Originally inspired by the Brahma Kumaris ‘point of light’, it is a progression from there, after doing a 10 day silence retreat. The aim was to feel every cell and vibration in your body. By becoming more connected to your own physical body, and really knowing yourself in the process( where ever you ‘block’ your feelings, you become numb) you are more relaxed. calm and connected with the world. The result is a better life for yourself, and the the people you share the world with.

I want to thank MoonSpiral for her comment….it gave me a title! Well…where to begin… I recommend that you play this video and listen to the music while you read the rest of this post….it will enhance the reading experience. (Could only find the entire song split into 2 vids.) SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMONDS PART 1 / SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMONDS PART 2 Have you ever had a creative moment that came from somewhere unknown? I’m sure most of you creative types have experienced being inspired by a muse, but have you ever been drivin by a force that felt…almost…divine?! I have had such an experience with my newest painting. I can’t really explain how I feel about all of this…it’s bizzare, kind of scary, amazing, and very…..peaceful?! I’m having some troubles accepting this experience and it has left me feeling a little vulnerable, but I think that’s a good thing for an artist. So….I am accepting this ‘divine intervention’ and hope that I can be fortunate enough to experience this again. This all really started a while ago. A year or so after my first, and very bad, experience with shrooms, my husband and I decided to try them again. As most of you know, I am a very open minded, yet spiritual person. I know that Shamans, as well as many many other healers and cultures, have used shrooms for ages. They use them for medicinal purposes, but mostly, for meditational purposes in order to reach a higher level of consciousness and possibly receive spiritual enlightenment. THAT is what I wanted to experience! So, over the course of a few months, my husband and I experimented. We ate shrooms 5 different times….each time was a different trip…each one more intense and spiritual than the last. During the first 4 times, I experienced many things. I have felt the inner workings of my body. I have felt my blood pumping, giving life to my organs. I have felt how my organs work together, thus learning what they need to stay healthy. I have sunk into the Earth…I have felt the dirt and roots hold me, I have felt the core of Mother Nature. I have been faced with all of my negative aspects and learned to accept and love them…they are a part of who I am and do not need to be viewed negatively any longer. I have danced with the faeries. I have plugged into the ether and tasted eternal knowledge. Anything that I seeked an answer to, I could reach out and touch and absorb its knowledge. I have seen the connection between past, present, and future….I have seen them happening simultaneously. I have found that everything exists around us because we have thought about it. I have found that love is the creating force of everything…all we do, see, and say is just a different way to perceive love. I have touched the goddess within…..found my god gene. I feel now, more than ever, that god iss within, not without and that is the most peaceful feeling in the world. I became the creator and the destroyer….I watched as I was taken back to when everything was new, I watched the world be born. I also saw death and destruction, all was and is necessary….but I did not see an end for us as a race. I saw how death breads life. I found that the people we surround ourselves with are there for a reason, they are brought to us to help us or teach us. I saw the connection between me and my husband. I saw that he and I are Yin and Yang, we are perfect balance made flesh…..it was beautiful! The most recept trip was a little different. I was ready for, and expecting, more revelations. Instead, I was struck blind and mute. Not literally, of course, but once the shrooms took me, I felt a driving urge to lay down. I couldn’t open my eyes….everything was too bright, too harsh. So, I laid down in a dark room, in a comfy place, closed my eyes, and let the trip take me. This was the first time that there were no visuals. There was no thought…..nothing….my mind was completely blank. I felt my brain going through a clean up process. I felt it trahing all the old, dirty, negative, and unused materials from my psyche. Then the feelings started. I was completely overcome by the ebb and flow of my body…like the tide was swelling and receding under my skin. Then the sounds started. I had never experienced so much audio during a trip before. There were clicking, humming sounds, both organic and mechanical, layers and layers of sounds all resonating at different frequencies. Everything felt so clear and good and…..clean. I woke up the next morning feeling like I had slept for days. I was totally and completely refreshed! I looked back on the night and felt that I had reached an intense level of meditation. I felt that the universe had opened up new neuro pathways in my brain. I felt enlightened. I felt an urge to PAINT! Ordinarilly, when I paint, I sit in my chair in front of my easel. This time, I had an urge to sit on the floor and fingerpaint! LOL I turned on some music….Echoes: The Best of Pink Floyd and it all began. I had images of colors and shapes popping into my head. I felt that my god-self was showing me what to put on the canvas. It was like I was dreaming awake. I was using colors and materials that I don’t ordinarily use in a painting, but I didn’t question it….it all felt so good and right. When I was finished, my head cleared and I was left staring at this painting. I felt like I hadn’t been the one painting it. I actually thougth it was kind of ugly! LOL I didn’t understand any of it, why I placed things as they were or what it meant. I had NO IDEA where this painting came from! I called my mom and told her how it felt like I had slipped into a dream state during the painting. She suggest I look up the symbology in what I painted just as I would a dream I had. So, I did…and I was completely blown away! Here is the painting. It has no title yet. I do not want to leave it as ‘Untitled’. It is on 14×18 stretched canvas with acrylics, blue glass stones, beads, gouache, a feather, and a silk flower. Below the painting is my symbology research. Peacock Feather / To see a peacock feather in your dream, represents spring, birth, new growth, longevity, and love. It is a good omen, signaling prestige, success and contentment in your relationship and career. Alternatively, the peacock signifies pride, confidence and vanity. You may be showing off too much or are overly arrogant with your success and achievements. / / Clock / To see a clock in your dream, signifies the importance of time in some waking situation. You may be feeling some anxiety of not being on top of things. Your mind may be preoccupied with a deadline that you have to meet or some other time-sensitive issue. It is time for you to tread on and speed up your actions. Alternatively, clocks symbolize the ticking of the human heart and thus is indicative of the emotional side of your life. (This is the only one I don’t completely agree with. I think it’s more about breaking away from the restrictions of time. I think it leans more towards the emotional heartbeat thing.) Circle / To see a circle in your dream, symbolizes perfection, completeness, immortality and/or wholeness. On a less positive note, it may also mean that you are going around in circles in a particular situation. Or the circle can indicate monotony and endless repetition. To see circles within circles in your dream, indicate that you are well protected or that you are being overly guarded. You may need to let down your defenses. Alternatively, the dream may highlight the notion that you are going around in a vicious circle. You need to somehow find a way to break this circle. To see an imperfect or incomplete circle in your dream, suggests that you will face many obstacles and setbacks toward achieving your goals. You need to work on your inner self and develop more knowledge. You will find that in the end, you will overcome these obstacles and find that your struggles are well worth it. To see a circle with a cross, symbolizes earth. It may also serve as guidance toward the center and self-orientation Six / Six is indicative of cooperation, balance, tranquility, perfection, warmth, union, marriage, family, and love. Your mental, emotional, and spiritual states are in harmony. It is also indicative of domestic bliss. / / Nine / Nine denotes completion and that you are on a productive path. Rebirth, inspiration and reformation. You are seeking to improve the world. / / Brown / Brown denotes worldliness, practicality, domestic and physical comfort, conservatism, and a materialistic character. Brown also represents the ground and earth. You need to get back to your roots. / / Orange / Orange denotes hope, friendliness, courtesy, lively, sociability, and an out-going nature. You may want to expand your horizons and look into new interests. / / Gold / To see gold in your dream, symbolizes wealth, riches, natural healing, illumination and/or spirituality. To find gold in your dream, indicates that you have discovered something valuable about yourself. This may be some hidden talent or knowledge. Yellow / The color yellow has both positive and negative connotations. If the dream is a pleasant one, then the color yellow is symbolic of intellect, energy, agility, happiness, harmony, and wisdom. / / White / White represents purity, perfection, peace, innocence, dignity, cleanliness, awareness, and new beginnings. You may be experiencing a reawakening or have a fresh outlook on life. / / Bird / To dream of chirping and/or flying birds, represents joy, harmony, ecstasy, balance, and love. It denotes a sunny outlook in life. You are experiencing spiritual freedom and psychological liberation. It is almost as if a weight has been lifted off your shoulders. / / Blue / Blue represents truth, wisdom, heaven, eternity, devotion, tranquility, loyalty and openness. Perhaps you are expressing a desire to get away. The presence of this color in your dream, may symbolize your spiritual guide and your optimism of the future. You have clarity of mind. / / Black / Black symbolizes the unknown, unconscious, danger, mystery, darkness, death, mourning, hate or malice. If the feeling in the dream is one of joy, blackness could imply hidden spirituality and divine qualities. (I believe it is the latter) Flower / To see flowers in your dream, signify kindness, compassion, gentleness, pleasure, beauty, and gain. It is also symbolic of perfection and spirituality. Your dream may be an expression of love, joy and happiness. / / Sunset / To see the sunset in your dream, indicates the end of a cycle or condition. It is a period of rest, renewal, and evaluation. I know this was a very long post….thank you for taking the time to read it. I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on this whole experience. I am going to leave you with the lyrics to the song that is playing as I found it very fitting. “Shine on You Crazy Diamond” Remember when you were young, / You shone like the sun. / Shine on you crazy diamond. / Now there’s a look in your eyes, / Like black holes in the sky. / Shine on you crazy diamond. / You were caught on the crossfire / Of childhood and stardom, / Blown on the steel breeze. / Come on you target for faraway laughter, / Come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine! You reached for the secret too soon, / You cried for the moon. / Shine on you crazy diamond. / Threatened by shadows at night, / And exposed in the light. / Shine on you crazy diamond. / Well you wore out your welcome / With random precision, / Rode on the steel breeze. / Come on you raver, you seer of visions, / Come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine! Nobody knows where you are, / How near or how far. / Shine on you crazy diamond. / Pile on many more layers / And I’ll be joining you there. / Shine on you crazy diamond. / And we’ll bask in the shadow / Of yesterday’s triumph, / And sail on the steel breeze. / Come on you boy child, / You winner and loser, / Come on you miner for truth and delusion, and shine!
